I'm guessing he'll have picked up every Soul Calibur girl by the end of the game, but okay.

Not meaning to sound like a pedo, but Sophitia's daughter looks hot.

am i the only one who thinks that altaïr would be a much better chose?
I was thinking the same thing, since they did the whole multiple Jedi/Sith thing in SC4, I would think it would be a good move to have both Altair and Ezio in the game. I believe it would be only right to include both.

And not a single fuck was given (at least by me).

I'll just quote myself from the members thread on this:

OT: I never much cared for AC so this isnt a selling point it seems to be to other people. this is going to be my last SC game, so the only real interesting question to me is if he's going to be the the starkiller or the yoda/vader equivalent.
EDIT: Although I'll add this. Just kinda floating around the web, the posts saying that people will buy SC V just for him is slightly sickening to me.

Ugh, can we not just make a Soul Caliber with the Soul Caliber cast? Even MK is doing it now... Freddy, really? As much as I love Star Wars, those things were a wreck last time. Just make the game, use your characters, and make it good.

Edit: If you are going to add guest characters, do it all the way like Marvel vs Capcom. 1 or 2 characters just feels out of place.
Adding recognizable characters helps sell the game. They can sell more units if Assasin's Creed fans buy the game because they like the character of Ezio. Without the guest characters, I am not convinced that Soul calibur games could exist.

Well....

His only attack would be a counter...
Where's the fun in that?

and stabbing. Also, what the heck's wrong with using altair? he fits the game much more than ezio with his bland personality

I'm wondering who they'll take as an exclusive crossover fighter for the Ps3 and Vita versions.

What? Every other series is doing it - make it Sly Cooper and have him use his cane. Like you said, fits as well as Yoda.
Who said he's going to be the 360 exclusive?

The first two games didnt have guest characters in them and they sold and rated well.

Ezio is a pretty cool guy. He stabs Templars and doesn't afraid of anything...

Looking forward to this, Ezio has plenty of cool moves and weapons to bring to the fight (as broken as it would be, a part of me hopes he gets the Apple of Eden, so he can just mind-crush everyone to death).

Wow. I might actually buy Soulcalibur 5 if that was the case. Plus, you know, him actually being from relatively the same time period as the games are set? I think. I don't know very much about the Soulcalibur series, but having Ezio in it is enough for me!

Good gods, that's probably a bad sign, isn't it? *worries*

...Well d*mn, now I'll have to get the new SC.

I got kinda turned off of the Soul Calibur series at #3, when I got to the point in the story mode where the computer would be rigged @$$hats who would throw off every grab and block every attack, even when their back was turned, and would be necessary to defeat all of them without losing a single round in order to get some of the true endings (Ivy's, if I remember correctly).

But if Ezio's in the new one...call me shallow, but hot d*mn, I gotta get me some of that. Unfortunately, that'd probably be the only reason I'd buy it. I agree with Mouse, just make a huge crossover of a ton of different characters so we can get our money's worth.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this.

I'm pretty neutral with Soul Calibur as a series, but I love AC, especially Ezio, and he might make a good fit for the game.

In all honesty, of all the characters they could've added, Ezio is not anywhere near the top of the list, and I was sure Bayonetta would be added soon, but apparently I thought wrong.

No-one. Because there aren't 360 exclusive characters. Just Playstation exclusive characters. MK - Ps3 got Kratos, no 360 character. Street Fighter X Tekken - Cole McGrath and Toro & Kuro. Again, no 360 exclusive character. That seems to be the recent trend.
There will be one this game. 360 fans will be turned off and daishi will have a lot to answer to if there isnt. and tahts not exactly something he wants to do at the helm of his first ship while hes trying to look good enough to captain four+ more.

I'm not surprised. Ezio is one of the coolest video game characters of all time in my opinion. He's right there with Solid Snake. Not quite as cool as Naked Snake, but close.

A better idea than Yoda, to put it mildly.

It's a video game character modeled after the physical appearances of a woman. You're not a pedo any more than people are for thinking Bayonetta is hot, since technically she was created (born?) only 2 years ago.

Makes no sense? Sexuality in gaming rarely does thanks to squeamish developers shying away from the topic or treating it like a joke (Duke Nukem exemplifies this perfectly).

I forget where I'm going with this.

I woulda thought Warner Brothers would be more worried about offending the 360 crowd than Namco. Think about it - Mortal Kombat goes far more into the blood and guts juvenile appeal than Soul Calibur -therefore, it would be more likely to try to appeal more top the 360 crowd.

And anyway, what sort of 360 fan would be "turned off" by not having an exclusive character? "They didn't shoehorn Marcus Fenix into the game, making him look utterly ridiculouw and redusing the lan cer to being no more powerful than a stick? INSTANT BOYCOTT.
Teh extremely petty ones.

but this is just going off what you said. Lets say that the PS3 gets its exclusive, then maybe a shared player, but the 360 gets no one. do you really think that will sit well with 360 fans?
