Guess I'm one of the few not excited? I lost interest in Dragon Age after about 24-27 hours, but need to go back and finish it just to see how it ends. I own Mass Effect one and still haven't played it...

Dead or Alive 5? YES! Finally! Oh, if only you guys can see my reaction now.
My thoughts too. DA2 and ME3 were pretty much expected given the already released teaser dates and whatnot, but DOA5? Now that is a very pleasant surprise. :)

I think the real question is why Dragon Age II uses Roman numerals, while Mass Effect 2 uses standard ones. There has to be some deeper meaning here ;)
Because DA:O is set in a medievil period where roman numerals would be appropriate. Mass Effect takes place in the future where we have no need of wacky numbers.

I think I just fan girl screamed some. I've been gnawing at the bit for DA2 and ME3. Was hoping for something on Saint's Row 3 and from Valve but we all know how Valve time is.

Wait, there are people who say Mass Effect, a planned trilogy from the first day of announcement, is just milking it?

...I have no words.
Well, no words that can be said without earning a heaping helping of banhammer ;)

Honestly, I'm betting that whatever gets shown will be trailers/announcements, little more.

Mass Effect 3. I am very excited about this. I've heard people complain about it and saying that it's just for the money, but Mass Effect being a TRILOGY right from the start, it's only natural it has a third part. There is really nothing that can really stop me from being excited about this one. Except if they require project Natal for it.

Dragon Age 2. Probably gonna be good, will be interesting to see what it's like, since the first one... well... it ended.

Now this isn't common, but I've heard this. Probably from a review of ME2. This person had probably lived in a nuclear bombshelter for the last 10 years or so and suffered from some degree of mental issues.

As a matter of fact, I think Yahtzee (not related to discription of the critic above) didn't know it was a trilogy, judging by his ME2 review (he mentions that the cutscenes told him about the sequel, might be my misinterpretation though). He didn't think they were milking it though.

....Already Mass Effect 3?

Damnit it's going to be rushed. They better just be releasing a trailer and that's it,

Rushing a game will prove no damn benefits. Unless they actually made changes. And good ones at that. No slapping in some extra guns then saying it's a proper sequel.

I'm going to remain sceptical on this, how the hell could they have something to show for Mass Effect 3 and dragon Age II so damn quickly? Mass Effect 2 was only released in January for God's sake. A teaser trailer I could buy like the Geth teaser trailer for ME2 but I highly doubt more than that.

If they have done enough to showoff though then Bioware is offically the greatest game developer in history. I really do hope that's the case, but I'm just making sure my heart isn't broken if it turns out to be a fraud.

Mass Effect -> Set in spacey-space.

Dragon Age -> Set in ye olde times.

I just got Mass Effect 2 a short while ago.

So far, I'm only sold at Mass Effect 3, Fallout: New Vegas, And Fable 3.

Mass effect 3 and Dragon Age 2 already?

Bioware must really have a lot of manpower and creative types, fairplay to them, but I sincerely hope they ain't rushing development.
Yeah I realize they likely got 2 very different teams who have been working on their respective products since the start, but such speedy development worries me, id rather they take their time and let their products spend some time in the womb before pushing them out into the public gaze.

I agree with Mass Effect 2, it seems to early to be saying anything about it. But with Dragon Age II, the first game was finished WAY before it was released last year in November so i think they'd of had plenty of time to make a sequel in time for next year.
