I don't really see a reason to remake it, except to get quite a bit of money. It's unnecessary in my opinion.
Probably so people who used to own N64's can have a blast from the past.

OT: I'm excited, although I have my N64 here so I could just play it if I wanted.

Pierce Brosnan>> Daniel Craig. Jesus.
Pfft.

Pierce Brosnan >>> all of them except maybe Sean Connery. Brosnan was a perfect film Bond with just enough Cheese, since none of them followed the book's description in terms of personality except Craig.

NO DON'T!!!! Part of Goldeneye's fun was the graphics and crap animations. Modern gaming technology will ruin what should be viewed as the greatest FPS of all time (equaled only by DOOM)!
I'm still surprised people don't give Perfect Dark more credit than Goldeneye.

Since it was essentially a goldeneye remake with enhanced mechanics.

It even had the entire weapons list from Goldeneye on it on TOP of the new weapons.

FFS Perfect Dark had AI options for multiplayer. When is the last time a major FPS had that option? They won't for another 8-10 years and when they do, not unlike dual wielding, they'll act like it never existed before.

the Wii might need some additional expansion pack to run the original Goldeneye :p

but really the thing that keeps me from back to playing the game is the N64 controls...can't get used to it anymore
