On the subject of the trailer- it was good, but I've listened to POWER so much recently (mainly because of the PONY Anthology on YouTube) and thus I didn't appreciate having to listen to it again. :<

That was one of the most ridiculous trailers i've ever seen.

And it was AMAZING.

And if I'm honest, it wouldn't be a game breaker. It's just, well, the guy tried to pull the statute of limitations on mass murder. How psychopathically awesome can you get?

Guys, I like this trailer too, but come on. It's a big cutscene, undoubtedly made specifically for the trailer, and reflects / expounds upon NOTHING we can expect to see in the finished game. Yawn, wake me up when there's a REAL trailer.

He is completely correct. It probably doesn't reflect any of the game anyway. All I want is an epic gameplay trailer, something to really get me excited. This was more of a "pay attention" trailer to keep people interested. However, even though this doesn't show gameplay, this trailer indicates one of the major themes we've come to love in Saints Row. The amazing ability to fuck shit up!

That's the Ultor logo. Those guys are from the Ultor Corporation, as seen in Saints Row II. So I'd guess that STAG is the name of the vehicle.

EDIT: Nope, looks like I was completely wrong. One of the new gangs is in fact called 'The Morning Star' so it's likely them featured in this here trailer. STAG is the 'Special Tactics Anti-Gang' unit of the government, akin to the Masako forces from Saints Row II.

Well, it's true this is a CG trailer rather than a gameplay trailer. But you won't have to wait long. They are showing the game at E3, so we'll get to see the actual gameplay in less than a week.

Will be interesting to see how the dedicated missions work out. There really is no substitute for a properly created mission map. Assuming there's still tons of open-world side missions, this could be the best of both worlds. A finely tuned scripted mission structure on top of open-world madness.
