Saints Row: The Third Trailer Brings Down the House (With Bullets)

An fun over-the-top game? I like it.
The trailer did seem a lot of fun. I haven't played any of the Saints Row games myself, though. I've heard the second was horribly buggy on the PC.
But I'd sure as hell like to try this game out.

That was one of the most ridiculous trailers i've ever seen.

And it was AMAZING.

One problem though. Ghat.

Saints. Need. Ghat. Hopefully i'm jumping the gun like the time I couldn't spot haggard in any of the bad company 2 campaign screenshots.

And if I'm honest, it wouldn't be a game breaker. It's just, well, the guy tried to pull the statute of limitations on mass murder. How psychopathically awesome can you get?

That alone is is enough to turn me off any futuinstallmentsnts.

Isn't it funny how things come in waves? In any normal year, I'd call this game a shoe-in for GOTY. But this year it's up against some pretty heavy hitters: DNF, Dead Island, Batman AC, the next Morrowind game, (maybe even Alice?). Against such a line-up, I'm not sure who comes out on top.

You're forgetting the games that have already come out, like Mortal Kombat, LA Noire, and Portal 2. Not to mention you're forgetting Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I am sooo getting this game. I've always loved Saints Row.

It's the gaudy glamorization of 'thug life' and blissfully amoral without the need to be ugly, creepy or without a sense of tact.

It's like releasing your inner ID...if you ID was a gansgsta.

Being a fan of the GTA series and hating the 1st game, my hopes where not set so high for 2. And even though it blew me away, i still like GTA IV more. But judging by this trailer, GTA V will have to be brought own by Jesus with free X-Box gold 12 month for me to like it over this one.

OT: Awesome, can't wait, SR2 was one of the most fun games to date. I just hope they sort out the driving a bit, that was definitely the worst part of the previous game.
