Say something nice about the Star Wars Prequel. If you can.

They made the originals look great.
+1 to you sir.

Only decent thing about the prequels is that the Lightsaber duels look a tad better, but it ends there.

I think complaints aimed at Christensen are primarily misdirected complaints that should be for the writing.
Oh god this. There is no conceivable situation in which any actor can make "From my point of view the Jedi are evil!" work. He did the best he could with what he had but every other line he was given was just bad; blame the writers.

Also I just want to add that Vader's poorly done "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" was no worse than Luke's poorly done "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I enjoyed chunks of the movies here and there. The battle droids in Episode 1, while still incompetent, were still cool enough for me. When I had that movie on VHS I'd fast forward for the big deployment/battle scene just to watch the battle droids kick gungan arse.

General Grevious had so much potential, but I guess they just needed a one-movie villain. I kind of wish they had somehow introduced him earlier...

1. The Starwars Prequels were made by human beings and made those human beings money. (yay jobs?)

2. ...their awfulness gives one a good perspective on movies and life?

Wow, this is actually really REALLY hard...

Honestly, I like the prequels. I like the original trilogy more, but I am so very far from hating the prequels.

Are you kidding me? The prequel is the best, you have Revan and his entire awesome story then theres... wait, you meant the movies? No, I refuse. Jar Jar Binks can go suck an egg.

Graphical improvements; I dare you to argue in favour of the original puppet Yoda.
Even though I watched the original movies before the prequels, I did not see the Sith Lord coming, like, at all...
Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman all did a good job, and their merit can't be diminished only because of bad scriptwriting and Hayden's soulless acting.

Jar Jar was no more stupid than Yoda was in Empire Strikes Back.

And Revenge of the Sith ranks my 2nd favorite of the Star wars movies, the first being Return of the Jedi.

ewan mcgregor was a great pic for obi-wan. anakin's fall had a good concept, but poor execution. c3po and r2d2 were in them.
ooh, and jar-jar dies.

The second one was a good film. It was very good.
(I thought the first was half-okay half-meh, third wasn't too good)

Granted, I watched the prequels before the originals. /flameshield

The music was great
All the battles and special effects were better than the original trilogy
Christopher Lee as Count Dooku, which I would have liked to have much more time on-screen

Duel of the Fates by John Williams. Great piece.
Basically this. But I would go further by saying it's one of my favourite pieces of film music of all time. And the fight sequence that goes with it is not half bad. (Love Ray Park's kicks.)

Probably the best thing about Episode One is that it proved what I always suspected: No matter what George Lucas tries to insist about the sound of light-sabres being "musical", light-sabre battles are more awesome with music. (I mean, come on! He had John Williams composing for him for three films, and he only let him write a tiny snippet to go with a fight scene.)

Understanding how Darth Vader came to be was the highlight of all the Star Wars movies for me. No other episode has as much substance as his transformation and his reasons for it.

Yeah, pretty much what they said.

Also they ended!

Uhm.... well.... arrh... The music I guess, I like the music but since it's connected to such intolerable films I don't find them enjoyable... Don't know much else to say, Liam Neeson was good, Darth Maul was a cool character, that's about it.

He is epic in the Clone Wars though, which is why I like him in these movies! I wish he had more of a part!

I really enjoyed the excitement and camaraderie of waiting to see she episode 1 at midnight. It's pretty much been downhill since then.
