Hmm this would be hard, but I've always liked greek names given to ships, so maybe Zeus I and Jupiter I. Then again, maybe not. NOPE! I take that back, I'd name one, Minerva and the second one Tesla,(after one of my favorite heros of all time) Yeah, that'd work. But if that couldnt happen I'd totally be up for naming them after famous super heros like superman and Gambit. Yeah, any of those names would do.

I wonder how many people are going to say Normandy and Enterprise
There's already a space shuttle, space-probe, and an Aircraft Carrier named the Enterprise, have been for a while now actually...

As for the thread: Issac and Clarke. For two science and one game references in a single attempt. Bazinga!

going to go with Bifrost - the viking rainbow bridge, and Avalon - just because that's what we're trying to find
I like this one best personally.

And what kind of spaceship would not crush a skull? Do you know the mass of those things?
One of the humorously tiny ones that you sometimes see in the funny pages?

Redshift and Blueshift in honour of the way that light is effected as distant stars move away or towards the Earth, respectively.

I'm a big Culture fan, so the more impressive ship would have to be named "So THAT'S where all the gravitas went!"
But more seriously, the Zarathustra and the Per Aspera.

A Ark and B Ark.

But A Ark stays back and dies from a dirty telephone.

C Ark was only thought about, as all the builders were already on A.

Ship 1 and Ship 3.

That way they'll be constantly in fear of an ambush from Ship 2.

The Titanic 2 & Hindenburg: The Revenge

Yeah, that probably wouldn't fly, and I'm sure someone would think giving spaceships those names would be a bad idea, but that's why I'm not in charge of this kinda thing.

Hmm,

Ship 1: Enterprise, for the cultural impact of Star Trek

Ship 2: Gagarin ( Гага́рин ) cause he was the first human in space

"Enterprise" & "Odyssey"

There's been an Enterprise in several naval fleets for centuries- plus both remind us of where we're going but also remind us of what's behind us and where we come from. That there's always a home when we look back from all our accomplishments, while simultaneously looking forward. That and they both just seem appropriate for ship's names (the first one being obvious- also how fucking cool would that be??)
