Whats the name of that game where at some point in the game you went to save it, and instead the screen said something like 'do you want to delete your game?" and you click NO and then it says "deleting... game deleted" an u lose ur mind but it actually saves and was just a joke. a BAAAAD joke

also once playing FEAR, instead of watchin out for the lil girl during a 'spooky bit' i was 2 scared 2 watch so in game i look intensly at some crap on the ground waiting for it to pass, i eventually turn around and at that instant she jumps in my face an kills me. ...i scream like a girl

The most recent thing to scare me was Nacht der Untoten on COD:WAW.

It's easy as hell, at first, but after a while you meet the ones that run at you and hiss. Scary shit.

I'd have to say F.E.A.R 2 in the school...

You're walking down a long corridor and the lights go off and some fucked up music begins to play, all the locker doors start thrasing around, the lights flicker relentlessley and you can see blood EVERYWHERE, on top of that there's ghosts jumping your ass at various intervals, once you reach the end of that horrible corridor there are some double-doors just slamming open and closed, then everything just STOPS. Silence.

I gotta go lie down.

EDIT: If you're interested, the part is in the demo

haha, i poo'd a little when that happened

what about when

You are inside the train carriage in the subway and when you reach the end of the carriage everything goes red and you can see a shadow of something behind you. I didnt see what it was, my muzzle flashes blocked the view

and another

You are walking through some basement room and everything feels creepy, theres a dim light and if you look behind yourself, theres this bone thin, red eyed, torn up and shiny scary woman. She even screams at you.

Either the Shalebridge cradle in Thief 3 when you first encounter a puppet, or in F.E.A.R when Alma appears for a second in the elevator with you.

For some reason, exploring the caves in Oblivion scared the shit out of me, I would take 1hr to explore because I was slowly crouching. Also, playing Dead Rising at my friends house, then going home at night, I thought Zombies were going to jump out of the trees and eat my brains!

Ladder scene in FEAR was the worst for me. It was 3 or 4 in the morning in a dark room with headphones and I think I woke up my roommates. That was the only thing that has ever made me jump, but The Cradle in Thief 3, and actually quite a lot of levels throughout the Thief games had me almost sick to my stomach with anxiety.

Thief 3: Deadly Shadows. The level; The Shalebridge Cradle.

They entire level. That entire god-damned level was terrifying.

In Condemmed: Criminal Origins where you have to zoom up on the face of a mutilated dead guy and take a photo of him, when he comes back to life and pulls you inside the locker he is in. The only scary part of the game.
Seconded so many damn times! Scared the crap outta me that bit...

the face room in Silent Hill 4. didnt really expect that
In the hospital? Yeah that actually made me feel physically sick and I like to think I have a strong stomach.

As already mentioned, the bear in Condemned 2 makes for brown trousers time.

Though in the ORIGINAL Clock Tower (emulated) whenever Bobby appears I absolutely lose my mind. Not bad for a 2d game.

The first time I played the office level in FEAR, with those stealthy melee guys who hide in the ceiling. They already startled and harassed me a few times, I just fought off one, was low on health, heard shuffeling around me, scared shitless. But at the end of the dark hallway was a lighted room, with a health pack! So I hurried towards the room, set foot in the room, and poof some red eyes and an uncloaked guy stared at me in the top corner of the room. I spitted the loudest "goddamnit!" ever, while my window was wide open. Fantastic moment.

It was a moment in Resident Evil 4 - can't remember exactly where it was, but I was walking through some sort of complex - and the very unsettling music starting playing (y'know what I mean!). I rounded a corner, and I heard a dull thumping sound, like someone trying to get out of something. Suddenly, this guy burst out of a white furnace - ON FIRE - Ran at me, flailing his arms and looking altogther bloody horrific.

I all but threw the Wiimote through the tv.
