That doesn't sound like it will work. I hope it isn't tax dollars wasted.
Well it won't be, it's a British arms company.
Most of which are private, so maybe BAE systems are doing this.

Well its about time! I mean how long have you waited for Force Fields that we can put on stuff? They better be working on a hover car next, also wouldn't mind to see a jet pack anytime soon. Science has been lacking lately on that kind of stuff.

Eh ok forcefield sounds great but what happens when someone shoots at the tank with an RPG? Wont it get reflected and like fly off in a random direction possibly killing friendly troops and such?

I dont even know why people are using tanks. We need some giant mechs, has armored core and chromehounds taught us nothing?

after this is developed, the next thing they need to work on is giving tanks the ability to hadouken!

Wait..weren't these on MW2?

There was a tank which had the ability to detonate explosives before they reached it.

Look at it 1:50 in. It shows the stryker with it's force field.

Calumon: Sorry... I should look where I'm driving.

[sup]Whats more annoying is that Calumon actually had a tank here[/sup]

Tanks should look like this

But shooting missiles instead of bullets.

And also, they should be combined with the Mako for ultra deathness.

Flying tanks with gatling missile launcher and horrible controls.. Epic!

Not quite a forcefield but more a shotgun blast that destroyed the rocket before it hits.

Better protection for soldiers is always a good thing. Even if this doesn't work out perfectly the technology could pan out for something else.

Just a few more years, and wars going to be like a game of Command and Conqure, without all the wacky character's of course.

Ah... well thats much less impressive.

Here's my Idea for a force field. Light the tank on fire, but also make it fire proof and cooled internally by liquid Nitrogen. Don't know if fire would work, but it would at least scare the enemy.

Calumon: Zoom Zoom! Hot tank! Zoom Zoom!

That's cool, but once we start using laser weaponry it will be fairly useless compared to a layer of heat resistant materials.
