*sigh* And he's black...

You know, there should be two levels of hell this guy is sent to:

1. Stealing from sick kids.
2. Perpetuating negative racial stereotypes.
So I received a notice from the moderators that I was "perpetuating negative stereotypes." Their words.

...uh... I was pointing out that the guy in the video was doing that. So, I'm perpetuating negative stereotypes by saying "this guy is perpetuating negative stereotypes?" Circular logic?

As mentioned in the article this guy certainly is going to a special circle of hell. The one reserved for child molesters and people who talk in the theatre.

I hope that this guy is caught and the consoles recovered.

I think he should be locked up. That's about it, I hope he gets the maximum amount of time possible, which he surely will, 'cause no Jury is going to REMAIN impartial when they hear about some guy who could be the defendant stealing from cancerous children.

I just DON'T hope he gets raped, dismembered or chemically burned until he dies of the sheer amount of shit in his pants. Jesus people, I agree, this arse-hole did an awful, reprehensible thing, but I wouldn't wish violent, horrifically excruciating death on someone, and I'm speaking as someone who's lost two grandfathers to cancer.

Any word on whether these consoles were provided by Child's Play?

In other news: donate to Child's Play if this story pissed you off.

Poor kids. :( At least EA and Microsoft have given the hospital packages of games. But, that does not excuse the crime.

This is one of those stories that makes me pretty angry to write. Stealing stuff from kids is bad enough, but stealing from kids with cancer means that there's a special circle of Hell reserved for you. When they catch this guy, I hope they throw the book at him.
Pretty much my thoughts exactly. This guy's going to hell. He'll find no sympathy from any judge or jury.

Everyone is acting high and mighty, the protectors of justice. What if he had a good reason? Don't tell me "there are no good reasons to steal from sick children" because that's total crap.

People are starving to death and everyone is QQing over some PS3's.
Its not really about hte kids. Well, oka yeah, it is. but its just in generaly that stealing is wrong, so making a wrong against kids who have done nothing to you to make right with the world as your enemy. You're harming the innocent in other words. its like... Its like saying the kids in Dafur should murder each other and be used as soldiers by older men so that they can eat. If he's that desperate, go get government aid. you dont need to steal. Hell, grow a garden. My mom and I used to live in an apartment because we were poor by pretty much every means of the word and she had a window ledge graden that we grew food from. She didnt break into the apartment next to us and steal the family's TV because tehy were more well off then we were. You are comparing a petty theft to war children, not even remotely close I'm afraid. Yea sure he can make a garden or whatever, but we don't know what his circumstances are.

And yeah, the kids have more to worry about then their videogames. yes, if five good samauritans wanted to, they could buy five new consoles for the kids and write it off as a tax deductable "donation". But the fact that these kids have cancer. Have you ever lived with smeone with cancer? or known someone with it when they were young? i watched two of my cousins have it and it pretty much ate both from the inside out. They used books, games, tv, different things things just to keep their minds off the cancer and to keep a positive attitude (which has been proven to help heal people faster). Yea I've had a family member get sick with cancer, she got past it by being with family and friends, and not by playing video games and watching TV.

So is he killing kids? no. Is he hurting them? no, not really. They'll get over it eventually or just get new systems. Does he have a good reason? maybe, its all speculation, you odnt know that guy's story. Indeed I don't know his story, and neither does anyone else here, that's exactly my point, everyone is automatically hoping this guy burns in hell, no one here knows shit about the guy.

BUt is it morally right? No, not in the least. There really is no reason to steal, especially from a hospital. A place of public service that helps those when they are injured. I bet if the hospital let this go, and decided instead to see if that guy ever got hurt and came to him to just deny him service, he'd cry and complain saying you couldnt do that and it was morally wrong. And of course the media would have a field day. There's just no reason to steal. Its a commandment for Cripe's sake and even if your not religious, you have to look at it if you were the kids. If I stole to feed my kids then later denied access to that hospital, I'd say fair fucking game, wont complain a single second.

If YOU had cancer (well, not just you specifically, everyone who said this isnt the big deal everyone's making it to be), if you were a kid, or hell, even if its just you being healthy ole you. Would you still have this opinion if he stole from you? Would you look at it and go, "oh, he has a good reason I'm sure. he's probably going to sell my couple hundred dollar piece of hardware that I use for enjoyment and someone close to me or I myself spent a few hundred dollars on. Let him go, there's no reason to persecute him to such an extent. Just a small slap on the wrists and wag of a finger will do." Trust me if I had cancer, my shit being stolen from me is my LAST concern, TRUST ME, I won't even care about my material shit. (Assuming I don't give it all away in the first place).
Check the bold parts, anyway I'm not saying stealing is right, I'm saying don't damn this man to hell without knowing what his situation is, it's unjust.

Wow, just.... WOW. There's low, and then there's this.

I kinda wanna be part of the mob who finds this piece of shit. And when we do... (Punches into fist)

I'mma go get a flamethrower, some tar and feathers, a porcupine, some shaving cream, and a jar of pickles.

Enjoy hell, you selfish cockbite!

EDIT: Okay, maybe I sounded a little harsh - no, VERY harsh here - and maybe I don't know this guy's story... but stealing from children, especially those who are stricken with cancer is a morally reprehensible thing to do! That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

(Wouldn't surprise me if this guy showed up on "World's Dumbest" one of these days...)

Now what i want to know is , are you guys appauled by this crime because the consoles were for kids with cancer ? or because you think stealing is wrong ?

I for one dont find this worst than a person that breaks into a house or steals a car.

Eh, just gut every copy of Twilight and Eragon out there and recycle it, this process kills two (or three) birds with one book!
I presonally enjoyed Eragon. The film was crap and barely related to the book any way. So I resent that statement!

But yeah, Twilight is crap.

IT may not be close, but its the same principle. You're committing a crime against children. Regardless of what his ssituation is, there is always government help programs. I know the Salvation army is a great source (sine my grandmother and I both do work for it). There's just no reason to steal. Especially from kids.
