My biggest one is that I have found that I enjoy reading about and talking about video games more than I enjoy actually playing them. I spend more time reading about them in magazines and websites like this one than I do actually playing.
Also, the only genre of game that I totally rule at is Turn-based Strategy. I can play the original Final Fantasy, Disciples, Dragon Quest and LOTR The Third Age like nobody's business as you have time to actually make good decisions. I am ok at Real-time Strategy and some First Person Shooters that don't have a lot of jumping in them. I totally suck at platforming games except the 2-D side scrolling games like Sonic, Ninja Five-0 and Batman Rise of Sin Tzu. I also suck terribly at sports games as I don't understand the real-life games well enough to make good decisions in the video games.
