I can't help but wonder who the next lynchee is since we seem to have someone new to lynch in the pop industry every so often and they tend to be pop-stars that appeal to the youth. I also have to wonder why people feel the need to attack the pop-star and not the music-producers creating these celebrities.

I never understood the whole "Let's hate on Justin Bieber and his fans" thing. I guess he's the new Twilight or something.

I never would have even heard of this kid if not for the people of this site.

So thanks for nothing on that Escapist. I mean, seriously. There's a new thread about how horrible he is every day. Give it a rest.

Quite honestly, I don't understand why everyone hates him so much. He's just this generations version of a boy band. Nothing more, nothing less.

Picking North Korea was a bit unsubtle and therefore fail. 4chan should have picked something more believable so Bieber would actually end up going there (Germany would have been funny, considering the reasons stated earlier in this thread).

I don't really understand all the hate for Justin Bieber. I mean, he's a bit obnoxious and his songs are definitely hollow and unoriginal, but he seems fairly innocent. He doesn't creepy me out half as much as the Jonas Brothers what with their purity rings and awkward incestuous sexual tension.

Wow, that's pretty funny. I hope it goes through.
But then again, we'll all hear about his death for perhaps MONTHS from the little fangirls...

Why the hate? Do you guys really hate everything thats popular?

Though I can understand, though. SO many artist and bands that are awesome but never get the publicity like these folks.

Agreed. 4chan may think itself clever, but they honestly should have mustered their efforts to vote for a country that this person would actually head to rather than a nation that he clearly will not go to, such as DPRK.

I think Bieber is like Freddy Kruger, if we stop paying attention to him and not care, he will lose his power and fade into nothingness, though his "Nothingness" may be a drug-fueled fall from grace followed by a long porn career... it's worth a shot.
Justin Bieber, former teen pop-sensation, starring in: Boy Bitches 5: The Sluttening!

Now showing at your local porno-theatre.

To all the naysayers: you are aware that this is the country that took two American reporters hostage, right? The same country that keeps launching ICBMs into international waters, despite passive threats from global superpowers?

Do you really think they'd pass up the opportunity to have an American celebrity on their soil? Can you imagine what kind of opportunities for leverage that would give them?

They wouldn't want him there? Kiss my ass. Send the Ellen Paige lookalike and pray for the worst.

EDIT: It's also worth noting that the majority of people that harbor ill intentions towards celebrities aren't jealous, or spiteful of the fact that they represent something other than themselves. Most of aforementioned people are simply disgusted with the amount of celebrity worship that goes on in America, where people are treated like royalty and are generally held above the law (see: special sentences and incarceration facilities for celebrities committing crimes that would land a nobody in a federal penitentiary) simply because they appear in our entertainment. I personally want these assholes held to the same standards as everyone else, but since America is full of people with lives so empty that they work themselves to death while obsessing over people that have next to no impact on their lives, it's not likely to change. Hence, why I'm happy to jump on the sabotage bandwagon.

Which begs the question,

How much money would Bieberfans gather to get him released?

Ehh... Who cares what he does? Besides, LRR have already apologized on behalf of the whole country for producing and exporting copious amounts of "Bieber".

Enough to fund their efforts for a nuclear armament, if it meant an autographed CD in return.

No one important cares about him. Its best that you don't know who he is. Bless you untainted, Bieber-less mind.
