If you're going to make an argument, swearing gratuitously and calling the developer a "dumbass pussy" and an audience "dumbass shooter fans" (so they have a different taste in genre than you, so what?) is not the best way to make that argument. There may have been some genuinely good stuff in that post, but I skipped over most of it because you made you argument in an immature way.
In short: No thanks, Ill express myself how I wish.

I dont know if you managed to cotton on to it in that post, but Im not best pleased with Bioware as of lately. Since I SPEND MY MONEY on their games, I figure that allows me to express myself...... Pretty much however I want to when it comes to my opinions of them and their games. It would be a pretty awful gaming discussion if people werent allowed to express their own views on games and developers strongly.

The most annoying thing is, you were half way at the appopriate response already: gloss over it.

Take a leaf out of my book. Someone expresses themselves in a way that I dislike, or about a subject I dont like, I wont try and chastise them immaturely like I actually have a right to police peoples own thoughts, Ill just let them get on with it.

Like I said, Bioware were pussies. I, like you, was aware that they even had the content there to be used, but didnt.

I used to think they had good reasons, but clearly they or the suits who give the ok decided that allowing homosexual romances in the game wasnt a good idea. It might offend those dumbass shooter fans I talked about earlier. You know, the ones who only like twitch gameplay and online deathmatch while slinging homophobic taunts all the time.

Whoops! Was that too much of a genuine opinion? Ah crap, what am I like?

'Romance' is a big word, all you can do is have dinner and she can do some suggestive dancing in your cabin :p
"Romance" is a big word for all of the so called "romances" in ME2. Its basically "I like you", "Do you like me?" "Are you sure you want to do this?" "Okay, lets do it".

I wouldnt mind, but as much as I enjoyed the romance I picked in ME1, it followed the same formula (albeit much, much better in terms of fleshing it out and progressing it alongside the story). Maybe with ME3 they can actually have the balls to try something different, especially since they have some romances that have been continued all the way to the final game that need concluding, and Im pretty sure many have said they want it done properly, and not just a five minute cameo.

sorry but can someone answer me this, how did the Asari evolve? I mean how could a mono-gendered species possibly reproduce(and in the asari case) without resorting to bestiality?

Heh, technically sleeping with an Asari isn't 'gay' even if you're a woman. Yeah, Asari all look like chick, but they don't actually have a male counterpart... they're not female really.

TBH, I'm more worried about the apparent lack of female Turian/Krogan... they obviously exist in the game setting, but we never see any.
You do see that one female Krogan on Tuchanka, but yeah, no female Turians or Salarians is a bit weird, even if the Salarian thing is sort of explained in the codex.

What?
They reproduced with themselves. They like, psychically mingle chromosomes and get pregnant, basically. [http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Asari] Outside species not needed, hence the "Pure Blood" asari who have two asari parents, like Liara.

The same way millions of mono-gendered species reproduce on our planet, more or less.

They get around the problems of asexual reproduction by melding their central nervous systems with those of other sapient creatures and using some kind of data acquired thus to randomize and pick traits in their children. They can quite happily reproduce with each other and according to Liara they did for a long time until they got into space and discovered other species, then the mood took over that 'breeding in' weakens the species as a whole and they largely stopped doing it.

It would be nice I have the option simply because there's no reason for it not to be there. I mean femshep can eat from both buffet carts so it'd only be fair more maleshep to get the same treatment. I doubt its homophobia or discrimination or that likes but let's just hope they add it in 3, maybe a gay cabin mate seduces him or something. Idk, but I always thought the idea was you based Shepard on yourself so you should really get the choice...

Also, I'm not 100% on this but I believe femshep and make sexy time with Jack, but then again she does look like a bloke.
