"Queen-high straight, y'all!" came the triumphant roar as Ryan flashed his cards on the table. Disgusted sighs could be heard as another heap of chips made their way over to his stack. Ryan was running hot today. He was already up a good $25,000 for his work so far. Quite the high roller set up they got here. I don't think I've ever done this well in just an hour.
"Boy, I tell you, I ain't never taken a whoopin' like this before," said the stereotypical Texan businessman in Seat 3. "I better give ya my hat, cause it's bankrupting me. Plus it'll get that hair outta yer eyes." He then made good on his word, tossing the dark black hat over towards the kid that cleaned him out. Ryan brushed off the inside of the hat, slid off his hood and put it on, the brim resting just above his aviator sunglasses. "Look's good on ya kid. Hopefully the cards I've been getting head over to you," The businessman looked down at his hand. "Ah hell, not yet anyway." He slid his two cards into the muck.
Ryan quickly looked down at his hand, a couple of Qs peeking up at him. Ah the lovely ladies. Better make it look like I'm not interested. He pulled out his phone and shot a quick text over to the newest number in his phone. *Micah buddy, how you doing, just testing the number, making sure this gets through to ya.* He slid the phone back in his pocket. The German tourist to his right decided to push his stack all in. He turned to him, looking him over. Hmmmmm, now what are you trying to do here Hans? You know I've been raising it up a bit. And I have been showing some junk hands. You trying to push me off? Was that a gulp in the throat? You are trying to put me off my blind. Silly Hans. You can't come over here and try and pull that.
"Call." The German muttered something in Deutsche and turned over a measly J-9. "Not the best charge to make, my man." Ryan displayed the Queens. The board offered no help for the visitor and he was left to slink out of the room. "Ah, I'm liking this hat, mate!" he called over to the Texan, just staring at him. "Come on, let's deal them again!"
