My 3D printer made me smile today when I 3D printed some cable combs and significantly improved my cable management on my desk. Not sure why it took me so long to think of doing it, it's so much cleaner than just bundling wires with cable ties.
They made Red Sonja woke!!!!
But seriously, I found this fucking hilarious. I haven't seen such a galaxy brain character design move since the New 52's Poison Ivy redesign.
Nothing against how she looked before, but she does look badass here. I don't see the big issue. Funny how I only knew of this character, because of her copy, Tyris Flare, from Golden Axe.

Its a dumb redesign, but not because its "woke" its dumb because it doesn't go far enough if you are going to do a redesign like that. Plus, does she actually end up wearing that for the whole comic or does it get destroyed down to her normal mail bikini?
Okay, I get it. But guys, either go all the way with a redesign or just tweak the existing. Hot pants and what I presume is a scale mail shirt just looks absurdly low effort and dumb.
I'm guess because Red Sonja is traditionally dressed in a chainmail bikini and thong, not a longsleeved crop top and hotpants i.e. showing more skin.
Like Chimpzy said, it's hilarious to me that they took a look at her bikini + thong combo, clearly thought it was too suggestive for the modern day, then proceeded to replace it with hot pants and a chainmail crop top (which somehow still manages to glue itself to her tits). All she needs is an afro and some roller skates, and she'd be ready for the disco.
But I will say that I'm not against a redesign (more accurately, I don't really care either way). I don't follow her comics, but a lot of what I've seen of Red Sonja borders on softcore porn. But if you're going to update her look, as Gordon said, at least go all the way and give her something sensible to wear.
I dunno, I think this looks hotter. It's not trying too hard like her OG outfit.
