No I have to disgree a true gamer doesn't have to own a wii(I do but thats not the case). A true gamer is someone who can try any game for the sake of trying it, I've met friends who never played a game but have to call out it's faults like they played it(i have a friend who hates xbox/360 with a passion but he never even touched it). Also it's someone who can enjoy the game play over those shiny graphics (I call this generation the stupid age, or baby age because babies love shiny things and so do most people with the PS3 or Xbox ba-dum tish). But I think a true game is someone who can go back and play classics like old NES(or even atari games) without whining about graphics not looking so shiny. But now most games have to follow whats popular in hopes to win the crowd. Also why do we care what another big headed actor says about a game system. It's not like he is gonna come to my house take my wii and beat me over the head with it.Signa said:What a tard! Only TRUE gamers have Wiis.
As much as that sounds like a fanboy statement, hear me out. A true gamer won't care what system a game is on, or how "casual" or "kiddy" a game is, they will play it. A true gamer would in fact own a Wii. They might not play it much, because of the lack of good games on it, but I would question a "gamer" who only owns a 360 a lot faster than another who owns only a Wii. The Wii has far more diversity in their games than the 360 does.
Of course I would also question anyone who only owns one system too.
pretty much this. So he's a fanboy who hates a particular console. Gosh, those are so hard to find these days, I was really starting to miss them.Cpt_Oblivious said:But he assisted in the murder of both Transformers and Indiana Jones! Why do we care what he thinks?
No the problem is that he is a actor so his thought is waaaaayyyyyy more important then us. Anything someone does that is good or helpful is aww thats so nice, but when a actor does it's a big deal.velcthulhu said:pretty much this. So he's a fanboy who hates a particular console. *Spit-take*And in case there was any lingering doubt, he claimed that he refused to play LEGO Star Wars with Megan Fox on the set of Transformers 2 because he doesn't like the game
You're completely right- we shouldn't. Just because he's a celebrity doesn't mean we should ignore the fact that his opinion's that of a fanboy.Cpt_Oblivious said:But he assisted in the murder/rape of both Transformers and Indiana Jones! Why do we care what he thinks?
Don't.soul_rune1984 said:I hate the Wii.... there I said it. My friend has one and had me try it. I wanted to throw the damn controller out the window on purpose. But I have nothing against those who can use the Wii in fact I envy them a little.
Pretty much my point.Tales of Golden Sun said:Why would ANYONE care what someone they don't even know thinks about something?
You have a Silent Bob avatar, yet you're a douche? How is this possible???Mazty said:Suddenly this guy get so very awesome. Finally, someone famous stated the obvious. Good man, good man.
Don't get your hopes up. I saw footage, it was the exact same shit.Uncompetative said:I think we are missing the point here.
A gamer has told them how to improve the second Transformers game tie-in.
It could be good...
Traveller's Tales dumbed down the first one too much by having you transform with a single press of a 'Change' button. How lame is that?
Really, the game should evoke the feel of the toys more, which are all about learning the 'moves' to transform one thing into another. Obviously, whoever does this first in a face-off would gain an advantage by being in the appropriate mode earlier. Just an idea...
I can't wait to see him in Lego Indy 2.Malygris said:And in case there was any lingering doubt, he claimed that he refused to play LEGO Star Wars [http://www.lego.com/starwars/] with Megan Fox on the set of Transformers 2 because he doesn't like the game. "Who wants to play the Wii version of LEGO Star Wars?" he asked. "I'd rather eat glass."
