There a some decent size trees that could potentially do some damage to my house. We had tornadoes where I live, but it was a freak occurrence.

There was a large manhunt around where I lived for a man who beat a police officer and sent him to the hospital, they had helicopters flying overhead, cars filling the street, dogs looking through the woods and everything.

He actualy tried to break into some people houses as he ran around for cover, it was a rather hectic week until they found him (about 10-15 miles from my house I believe...)

Damn tornadoes. Always making people fuss.

once had two bear cubs in a tree that were scared to death since their mom got run over So not much danger but that's really it.

my house almost caught fire once when i was about 8 or 9.

and the tree RIGHT BEHIND my house got struck with lightning once.....thank god that tree didin't fall on my house cause it could have destroyed our bathroom, and my mom and dads room easily.

I live in Massachusetts and earlier this spring there was MASSIVE flooding. Our school closed from flooding, and the river rose literally into the roads, where were a good 300 yards from the normal river...

My dad also remembered being 50 feet away from a lightning strike once...

Also back in the 60's he lived 2 miles away from the then second largest nuclear missile equipped base on the east coast, they had quite a few scares back then.

A few years ago we had massive flooding in and around my town. If you went a kilometre anywhere form my house youd hit water. Thats when I found out roads slope upwards to my house, so we were fine.
