Somebody made a valid point in this thread. Why the hell can I get arrested for just accidentally going to a website with nude, not porn, children but they can run around in their front yard and it's all find and dandy? I have no problem with nudity but laws are laws and I'd rather not get arrested cause some parents allow their kids to run naked.

They're kids. Not even teenagers. Kids. It just sounds like you're making a big deal because you're uncomfortable, and it also sounds like you're lying about other people getting angry about it.
Why is it a problem for you? Is their nudity a threat to your house or your family?
I just don't get why you think it's a problem aside from "they're nude and it makes me uncomfortable," which is the worst reason ever.
Mind your own business. It doesn't sound like they're purposefully antagonizing you, and it doesn't sound like they're a threat to anything besides your sense of shame.

It just happens to be that the vast majority of pictures on the internet of nude children are for the explicit purpose of child pornography. Often those children are abused, physically or psychologically, and may become part of child prostitution rings.
It's hard to "accidentally" stumble onto nude pictures of children, but if so, I doubt you'd hoard them or revisit the site several times a week - indications of use of the material. If you do, then I'd hope they suspect you.

I would just like to point out that when anyone has stated "its not like someone is watching" is exactly the the potential problem that exists in these times. Society has change a lot since i was 5 - 9 to where we lock the doors now in the quiet small town i grew up in. Not because the neighborhood has seen new people move in, its because we can't account for the people driving thru.
Sure, people in the neighborhood may not see a problem, or be the problem, but how about the pedophile that my be driving thru the neighborhood? Do you feel that its right, that even though the locals aren't opening their pants for a small bit of "fun" that maybe someone that's just driving thru the neighborhood is? Or even that someone might be and is just better than the locals at noticing that they are getting a free show.
I THINK(<-see this?) that instead of allowing the kids to run around naked in such an easily visible spot that measures should be considered to assure that the kids fun stay just for the kids and not for anyone else like taking it to the back yard, posting up a few sheets so it obstructs view yet doesn't cost the parents anything but their time or, indeed, have the kids put on swim suits.
Nudity isn't something i oppose but it is something that shouldn't be a issue.
If it bothers you so much that you had to make a post on a public forum about the nudity, then gather more courage than you've already shown and go talk to the caretakers and let them know it bothers you. Simply voicing your opinion to the caretakers of the kids might show them the differences between the cultures and your problem might solve itself. That or they might find you to be creepy enough to make changes so that it becomes a non-issue.

I personally wouldn't report it because such things no longer bother me in the slightest after living in Germany...but I also wouldn't defend them if they got in trouble. Nor would I judge the other neighbors for reporting this family. Things work differently in the US...such as it is. They can get over it...and maybe learn our language so they understand what is going on while they are at it.

I can see where you're coming from. I don't have a problem with nudity, especially kids and in their own home. I know it's on the front lawn but unless you're on a main road it shouldn't be a problem with respect to "public nuidty". Regardless, I can understand the concern, not so much with how you feel about seeing it but worrying who else might be watching. I know there's not a pedophile on every street but it's one of those scenarios that just seems to be inviting trouble. If it were a movie it would be the first attack scene of "When Pedophiles Attack!".

Well, I would be shocked too (I not sure if that makes me a perv or a prude) but i wouldn't have the guts to report it.
Get a chair, a drink and binoculars and watch them play around, they'll forbid their children to do so eventually.
