Both at once! Mostly because theres really nothing to see where my windows are. I don't have any icons, and my taskbar is on autohide (it barely gets used anyway. Fuck yeah Launchy and Alt+Tab!) Also, no Persona, I haven't updated to 3.6 yet. I'm waiting for a couple of the addons i use to be updated first.

The side and bottom bars are normally set to auto-hide.
What is that, Kubuntu? Don't see that too often.

You need a wallpaper that fits your resolution. Those blue bars are just ugly as hell.
I know, but the wallpaper used to change every 10 seconds to one of about thirty pictures. That is actually an old pic. The new one doesn't have the blue bars (I just didn't want to have to go through uploading a slightly new pic).

Until Microsoft can sort out some of their painfully huge bugs, (I switched to Linux after Windows Explorer stopped functioning, the process completely vanished and wouldn't even appear after a restart. The BIOS said it was there, the rest of the time the computer thought otherwise. Try running windows without a core GUI manager, I dare you..) I will be using Linux.
You should have tried running /sfc scannow. It finds errors in system files and replaces them with the official Microsoft versions. You wouldn't by any chance have been fooling around with Explorer, would you?

Also, you could have used the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Shift-Esc to bring up the Task Manager and then started Explorer with the Run Task dialog.

I change mine around about every week too. I'd show them... but... I'm embarrassed to say I've forgotten how to post images on here. >.<

Well, for a persona I use a grey Rise Against thingy.

For a background, this one currently:

But maybe this when I feel like it:

Or this? You never know.

What I'm trying to say is that Rise Against & MS Paint Adventures are awesome.

My desktop:
The huge CPU use was due to my use of the PS2 emulator.
How's that coming, by the way? Tried it about a year ago, but my computer couldn't quite handle it yet. Much progress been made?

Yakuza 1 and 2 work perfectly. SMT Nocturne works with some texture problems. Okami runs with texture problems at about 45 fps without overclocking (people have reported lower fps while using brush, but I don't have that problem). I can overclock my duel core from 2.66 to about 3.10 GHz and get Okami to run at 75 fps with no graphics problem (I cap it at 60 fps though). Persona 4 was briefly tested, and it got to the starting menu but I didn't try playing. I just ripped my copy of Shadow of the Colossus into an ISO, but I can't get a copy of Ico :(

Generally works quite well. A lot of the bigger titles are compatible. You'll need some nice CPU to get them to go though. Ideally, duel core at about 3GHz, or something you can overclock to that kind of speed.

Sounds good, thanks for the update

No idea what a 'persona' is, reading Firefox's page for it though it looks suspiciously like the word should have been 'theme' in which case I use the Noia 2.0 theme
What dock is that on the left?

Seeing this thread made me realise that my awesome Rise Against persona had broken. After a little experimentation, I discovered that they all had, so for now, my answer is:

No persona, but you can haz my desktop.

I took that picture myself :D

Am I the only one who thinks there should be a pixel-thick line above the bottom persona-y bit?
GAH! There's SFIV for PC?! MUST GET!
Yeah, it came as a freebie with this PC (it came from Steam). Be warned, though. It's a direct 360 port, so the controls are a little hard to figure out (especially when attacks are labelled as 'left trigger' etc.). Luckily you can rebind to a keyboard layout.
