This is what we have FIRE EXTINGUISHERS and a FIRE SUPPRENSION SYSTEM (Read: super powerful garden hose...unfortunately outside) for.

In the event of the house catching fire I will take my rig and run. I value my life and computer more than my shutin-ness

Was agoraphobic for x number of years (4? 5? They run together), but my parents and therapy allowed me to overcome it. So much so that I recently moved halfway across the country, away from everything I'd known for 23 years.

No shame in being a "shut in" if that's what makes you feel comfortable. If it doesn't, that's your cue to try and make a change.

I could be subscribed to WoW still...oh wait, I resubscribed a week ago. Damnit.
I'm trying to resist temptation but I don't know ho much longer I can last.

And everyone else:
Parties? Movies? Sport?

No...?

Well each to their own.
I'm actually spending less time at the sport and movies components because I'm nearly out of cash, but I do find myself going stir crazy when I haven't been anyway for awhile.

EDIT: Dancing at 3am to Young MC's Bust a Move? No..?

I would be out more if it was warmer so than I could swim more often and if I had a better bike.

When i am not working, with friends, rehearsing with my band, at a gig or at school yea i am a shut in but that is because there is nothing to do in the house outside my room and i don't enjoy sport.

I would definitely not fit into the standard shut in case. I go to school and I used to go out quite a lot. I say used to because I'm grounded at the moment. I think the reason I'm not a shut in is because I just moved here and I don't really have a lot of stuff in my room to keep me occupied. I might post an update if I become a shut in when I bring my Wii back from my Dad's in January.

Complete shutin now that the holidays are here - excepet for work of course. I am enjoying it but am starting to worry about muscle atrophy.

I used to be extremely shut-in when I was younger, pretty much only leaving the house for school and to go with mum to the shops to buy a game. Now I don't do that any more, it's more fun in some ways but more crap in some ways too.
