are there any giants that are friendly? I try going up to them with my weapons sheathed and they still fight me. Which led to many a death whilst fighting 2 giants and 3 mammoths at the same time

So, does anyone else's PC version of Skyrim (downloaded off Steam) tend to just close on you? Mine used to do it whenever I hit R to loot all but now it's doing it at random times. Downright annoying.

Keeps doing it for me.

Every once in a while. I have a tendency to just quicksave every 5 or so minutes...

Quest items suck in this game. In Oblivion quest items were zero weight in Skyrim no (I wonder if that's a bug..) Or at least as far as I can remember Oblivion's items were zero. I could be wrong.

I had a bow in my inventory and I still don't know for what quest. I must have pilfered it from somewhere or something. I found out that I can leave the bow at my house (Whiterun). Normally you can't drop quest items anywhere but you have this neat plaque upstairs and the game does allow you to leave it there. Equip the quest item and click to activate the plaque. Yay, a little more space in your inventory...

I don't know if it works for any other item than weapons. It's a weapon's display plaque, but give it a try. That damn bow was heavy as well and it irritated me

It could be that the weapon rack downstairs works the same way.

giants are neutral until you go near their mammoths. at least the 2 that i've seen have been.

Also i haven't noticed magic being overpowered. In fact quite the opposite. It doesn't seem to do nearly enough damage for the cost. 'Course that may just be due to all this steel i have strapped to my body.... Guess they really increased the magic incumberance rate from oblivion.

Once you upgrade it with perks it becomes really OP, if you dont upgrade its not very usful.

Yes, there are many. I've walked straight through groups of giants and mammoths without attracting any attention, in fact, I've only ever seen 2 giants that weren't friendly so far.

My character is extremely shit.
Takes around 4 - 1,000 arrows to kill ANYTHING.
An average Thug/Bandit... they take a good 4 (3x stealth attack) to kill and they can fuck me over in around 2 hits with worse weapons than me.
Its starting to get very fucking annoying now.

Does anyone know how to become the Thane of Morthal? The Jarl told me to complete 3 tasks but I can only seem to find two.

Also something I noticed. Use a shout in every town you find. Pretty often a courier will show up with a message from a "friend" from that town that gives you the location of a new word.

I'm trying to find that one lady in the temple of Mara that will sell me a trinket that'll allow me to marry people... It's been pretty difficult so far.

Go to the temple in Riften, I think. If you haven't been there before, go to the Inn, Bee and Barb or something. Then will be some dude in orange preaching in there, and if you ask him, he is from the temple of Mara. If you have already been inside the Inn, he should be in the temple. 200 gold for the necklace, and then wear it and talk to someone who is your friend (Someone who you can ask to follow you)

They will say something like "HOT HOT HOT" and you will be like "Mubcrabs, nasty creatures" and then you skip off to the temple, get married, get bored and murder your loved one.

At least that's how it happened for me and my giant Nord with a bigger sword!.... I felt threatened.... My quest is to get a bigger sword than her....

Yeah, that happened to me. I used the whirlwind thingy in the Sleeping Giant Inn and THE MOMENT I steped out the door (Which was right away, I was trying to use whirlwind shout and go through a door at the same time, a courior said, "Hi! Hi! Here's a letter! Don't know who it's from! Bye!"

I haven't done them all, but there is the deliver the letter one, the burned house one and the dragon one. Also do you mean every town or every major town like the nine major cities?

Here's a question.

In Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, you could pick up items and carry them to replace them.
Not going to your inventory but just float in front of you.

How do you do that on the Xbox360 version?

Can't seem to find the button.
