I plan to get neither.

Problem... solved?

I may have a problem if the proposed conflicting games were Mass Effect 3 and...

and...

...huh.

Mass Effect 3 is the only game on the radar I care about even a little, actually.

MW2 was the first COD game I got, and I more or less enjoyed it, but after I saw BO, I decided never to get another COD game, so yeah, Skyrim.

Modern Warfare 3. Didn't play Skyrim before, sadly.
I don't mean to sound like a dick or anything but... /facepalm

The series isn't called Skyrim... It's called The Elder Scrolls...
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (The V stands for 5 if you couldn't figure that out.)
I know. I messed up when I typed that. I meant to say Elder Scrolls. And I know Roman Numerals, I know it means 5.

I'm not too interested in either, but if I did have to pick one, it would be Skyrim. I'm not interested in ME3 at all. Didn't play the others, and I'm just not interested.

I know Im not buying MW3, Skyrim Im not so sure about. I didnt really like oblivion but its predecessor Morrowind was a heck of a lot of fun. I think itll come down to what I see in some gameplay videos after the games come out. If it looks fun yeah Ill probably get it when it drops down to $50

Definetly Skyrim. I like the Modern Warefare games, but I don't play online multiplayer, so I usually just borrow a friend's copy for a weekend whenever a new one comes out.

Definitely Skyrim. I'm not really a fan of modern war shooters, and I played Oblivion and Fallout 3/New Vegas so much it'd seem ridiculous not to buy into the next Bethesda timesink, especially considering the improvements they've apparently made.

Bah, I'm not even gonna bother with MW3. I'll hire it at best.

Yup, I've got my sights firmly set on Skyrim and I've never been so positive that a game will deliver.
My girlfriend and I have already decided, we're both gonna pre-order the game, pick it up on the day it's released, then go home and play it separately for the week, meet up, and tell our own tales of wonder and adventure.
It's gonna be awesome.
What a delightful idea, my wife and I might have to steal this idea from you good sir.

OT: Skyrim most definitely. CoD, while fun in brief increments, does not deserve a day one purchase - although I do like that they are bringing back that co-op mode, considering that was all I played anyway. But it certainly can wait until I can buy it used, for 15 dollars.

this isn't even a contest in my mind. Buy Skyrim and if I need to later fill 4 to 5 hour of my life I'll rent MW3.

I have both preordered and fully paid off.
Its not a question of "Which will i buy first",
but "Which will have my attention?"

Im getting Skyrim for PC,
And MW3 for 360.
So theoretically i could play both at the same time....

I'm not even going to bother with Modern Warfare 3. The games are fun but they get old really fast. I am so excited for Skyrim though. Might even buy 3 copies for the heck of it. :D
