There are multiple points in this thread where you purposefully took quotes out of context (I already called you out for one at the top of this page for how blatant it is) and used strawman arguments about microtransactions to argue for something no one had mentioned.

If you don't want people to call you out for insulting people and arguing in bad faith you should probably stop insulting people and arguing in bad faith.

If you're going to act like i misquote you all the time. Then prove it.

The mods are biased, most posters have their head so far up their asses it's unbelievable. These forums have become a mere shadow of it's former self. Using buzzwords and twisted logic to win asinine internet arguments.

But if Yoshi wants to plead innocence and blame everyone else for the public opinion and reputation he helped craft, don't be surprised when people chime in and tell him why they think of him the way they do. You're free to call that "bullying" if you want. I believe that's just bringing clarity to his complaint of "prejudice"

That was a fantastic game! I really liked the little story it had. It was kind of bleak really. In the opening, Master Hand brings all the characters to life. Then after fighting through all the opponents and becoming the best you take on your creator. After defeating Master Hand there's an uncomfortable silence, some pretty unsettling music, and then you turn back into a lifeless doll. It's a story of hubris and rampant determination ultimately ending in your own demise, though I'm not actually entirely sure if that's the meaning I was supposed to be getting.

Ok. Can we take a step back and realize that differing opinions on the rate at which a roster should be unlocked is NOT worth getting this worked up over?

Maybe you need to take a step forward and realize that this actually is worth getting that upset over! In fact, I think someone needs to start throwing some tables!

I don't have the game as of yet (don't have a Switch, promised myself I wouldn't buy anymore games until I clear out my massive backlog), but people complaining about having to unlock the characters seems weird to me. This was how it always was.

it's even funnier because it takes a hell of a lot less time to unlock all of Smash Ultimate's Characters than it does to unlock characters in all the others. especially Melee.

I thought it was fine. The only bothersome bit was that if my friend and I were playing co-op arcade campaigns, we can't do the unlock fight together. All in all the unlock fights were very plentiful, and it doesn't really matter what you play, the unlocks keep on coming. I played everything a little, unlocked everyone and still have much of world of light to go (I think)

But this is not a big problem. Sure, it'll take quite a long time to unlock every single one, but it won't take you very long to build a very serviceable roster. You don't need every single one to have a great time; it's a very healthy roster even at half the size, or even fewer. It won't take you long at all to have 20 or so.
