It's not about how many years it takes off your life that puts me off, it's the way that you would die.

I don't want to go out gasping for a breath my lungs won't deliver. I want my body to outlive my brain.

Yes, I smoke, and I hate it. I don't like other smokers, I KNOW it looks stupid, it's expensive, and girls don't like it either (unless they're smokers themselves). I'm actually a very considerate smoker, as I don't smoke indoors, around other people, and I NEVER throw buts on the ground (these being reasons I think people hate smokers).

As for why I haven't quit? It's really, really hard. I've tried many times. It's difficult to explain the compulsion to smoke to someone that doesn't. Think about something you do that gives you comfort and relaxes you. Then imagine that you just can't do that anymore. It sucks. The thing is, there is no one FORCING you not to, so eventually you just think "Why not?" and do it anyway.

I think I was pretty much destined to smoke. My dad smokes like a chimney to this day. He used to smoke around me all the time in the garage, in the car, etc. The first cigarette I smoked I stole from him.

The worst are the anti-smoking nazis. Not only is it completely rude, but it actually makes me want to smoke more. Nothing makes me want to blow smoke right in someone's face more than an idiot that feigns a cough as they're walking by me.

Occasionally. I do it because it warms me up and calms me down. I also love the feeling of the smoke moving threw your lungs.

It's not always feigned, though. When I was a kid, every time I was around someone who smoked, I practically hacked up a lung. It's gotten better as I aged, though.
I'm not talking about people that cough if they're stuck being around someone that's smoking, though. That is definitely rude of the smoker. I'm talking about the idiots that walk by someone and give a little cough like it's totally bothering them. I mean, come on- you get more noxious fumes starting a car in a garage.

Nope, I'm way up north in New England.
That was my grannie's motto too, she used to say it a lot as well.
And I won't even say how old I am. I know age is just a number, but every time I see that number I think..."OMG...OLD! NO, NOT ME!!!!! EEEEEEK!
Upside: You might be dead soon at your age!
Oh, I've been dead before. It didn't 'take'. Hahaha!

Cigars, on the other hand, I smoke mainly at parties as a socializing thing, and even then only once every two months or so. Never smoked a cigarette, and I don't really plan on it.
I smoke cigars for the same reason, but usually more like once a week. I never smoke cigarettes either. Don't smoke weed though.
I'm avoiding doing it at every party I go to because I don't want my brain to start associating the two. Seems like it would be the first step to habit forming, and then to addiction.

I don't smoke. I'd find it pretty hypocritical if I did, I got my parents to quit when I was younger.
I get slightly turned on watching my bf smoke, though I think he's cutting down a little bit ^^

You dare defy The Reaper?
Well, yes! It can be done, if one has mad chess skills.
It's true.

I'm pretty sure that's a fetish.
People are so weird.
I don't think it is :/ It's not like oooh my boyfriend is smoking I'll be turned on, it's not all the time either. And it's never happened with any of my other ex's

Yeah, it is.
Yeah, they are.
I used to have mad chess skills.
Endgame is endgame, though. It's all in how well you can prolong things before it gets to that point.

This is pretty much the face I make when I don't want to know something.
See this face?
Memorize it.

*resists attempt to make unkind remark about number of exes*
I am being kind of mean today. Don't take it personally. It's all in good fun.

"Used to" won't let
you escape the clutches of death twice.
Don't be so sure, Mr Max, don't be so sure. *winks*
I think you can escape the clutches of death as many times as you want to, unless something in you is truly ready to go.

I smoke ciggaretes becaus ei like the taste, the feeling, and everything about it. I like the little breaks a ciggaret gives me, and i love how it pissed fanatically anti-smoking people off.

...P...please don't wink at me...It's kind of creepy...
Anyway, I can solve that problem. I'll just take everything in you out of you.
Then we'll see how you feel.

Irony.
Thank you for your kind offer of assistance, but you'll have to wait in the queue, just like everyone else. Nothing personal, you understand.

I don't care if I get cancer when I turn 80. Who the fuck wants to be 90? I always hated anti-smoking people. So annoying.

Blegh! Smoking is disgusting. I love seeing people the same age as me walking down the street smoking, have a good life.

I also like it when people say its "recreational" and they only do it so they can socialize. BS.

I would if it wouldn't cause cancer. You have to admit, smoking is cool (usless you are a heavy smoker who sounds like a 90 years old)
