I had a situation where while on the bus home from work this massive drunk guy sits next to me regardless of the fact there are plenty of spare seats on the bus including the one he had been sat prior to this.
So he decides to get uncomfortably close, to the point where I'm pushing myself against the side of the bus to avoid contact with the crazy, and then proceeds to ask me in the most aggressive way possible if i'm getting off at stop A, I then tell him the bus isn't going to stop A, that's in the opposite direction and in fact the bus is only going to stop B.
Then, he said word for word "what the fuck did you say to me ****, I'll fucking smash you."
At which point I didn't know what to say so I looked away toward the window as he continued to spout the local gang terminology before finally decking me in the face. Now this put me in an odd situation, on the one hand I've just been assaulted and need to get the fuck away from this guy, on the other hand this guy is massive and sitting between myself and my freedom.
Luckily I dashed passed him and got him to follow me off the bus where after I was able to get back on for it to drive off with him still outside. The low income areas of New Zealand are pretty shameful.
