The last thing I read was Ender's Game, but that was a while ago. Good book though.

I'm currently trying to decide which of the few books that I have but that I haven't read yet to start on. The choice is:

Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell
Dune by Frank Herbert
Foundation by Isaac Asimov
Robots And Empire by Isaac Asimov
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Phillip K. Dick
Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein
The Wasp Factory by Ian Banks

Any suggestions on where to start, oh Escapist?

2030 by Albert Brooks. I'm almost half done, but it's taking forever because he keeps introducing characters and jumping around. I only really care about one or two of them, and those plots get buried under the six or so other stories going on. And it's really a bummer, too (as in we have no future and we're screwed). It's disorienting, but not necessarily bad. Just a chore at times.

The last book of the Millennium trilogy, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest.

Probably one of the best series of books I've ever read. It's a damn shame that it's the author's first, and last series. The poor man died before he even saw his books on shelves.

One of the best and orignial heroines in modern literature.

Samus Aran should have had the personality of Lisbeth Salander, not that thing in Other M.

Lisbeth Salander was actually the author's idea of what a grown-up Pippi Longstocking might have been like. You'd likely never spot the similarities unless they were pointed out, though.

On topic: I'm currently reading the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. These books detail the insanely funny adventures of Stephanie who, in a moment of financial desperation, has landed a job as a bounty hunter. (Her previous job involved buying cheap-ass underwear for a bargain store.) She always gets the weirdest cases, which tend to clash hilariously with her chaotic personal life.

Dune is an old favorite of mine I would recommend that.

I'm not sure,but it's got The Old Testament and The New Testament,if that helps.

Not really. Most people find the King James Edition to be the best to read for its old timey language. Personally, I like the Douay-Rheims.

Really enthralled. Can definitely see the vast improvement in his writing as you go from book 1 to book 3 of them.
