Have you read what is says in all game manual specifically the CoD:BO one as I read it recently? Activision only does not sell you the game it sells you 1 license to play 1 copy of the game. Unauthorised lending, renting and leasing without another license is punishable by law. In fact it used to always say this on every PS1 game for years.

OT: Nothing this year I bought way too much last year and haven't even got through half of it.

Play it NAOW!

If you remotely like Batman, or just punching people, it's pure gold.

It's one of the oh so very few superhero games that actually does a good job at blending solid gameplay with a believeable story.

Just one late bit of defence for Steam.

ok, you own a towel if you buy it and can do what you like it with it.

But if you lose your towel, or set fire to it, or just throw it away to see what it looks like flying around in a high wind for giggles... its gone. No towel and 'Towel Inc.' isn't going to send you a new one for free.

Reinstalling windows, evil viruses, out of space troubles, new hard drive, any reason I need to put my games back on my PC....or anyone's PC that Imight want to use, and I can do it, for free, with no effort, no Cd keys, no registration, just a simple one click download.

Sure I might be 'renting it forever' instead of buying, but I have the piece of mind of knowing I have 84 million backup copies if I need them for nothing.

On the main topic, about 50 games I think, including a bunch of the £1 stuff just to give away at a later date :D

I hope this is all:
Steam:
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Fallout New Vegas
Sim City 4
Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga
Neverwinter Nights 2 Diamond Edition
Hitman: Codename 47
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Hitman: Blood Money
Dead Rising 2
GTA4 + Episodes From Liberty City
ArmA: Combat Operations
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
IL-2 Sturmovik
Machinarium
Day of Defeat: Source
Prince of Persia

GOG.com:
Tex Murphy: Pandora Directive
Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon
Tex Murphy: Overseer

GamersGate:
Cryostasis
Velvet Assassin
Europa Universalis 3 Complete + Heir to the Throne

And nothing on Impulse. It's a shame as I love the service. They just tend to have less awesome sales and annoying region locks that often prevents me from buying the few actual great sales they have.

I think that was it. And I had waaay too many unplayed games already. And now I'm 150 ? poorer from Steam alone.

I bought about 22-24 games...spent about $80 or so on it...making a list is too much work though lol. But now my steam acc is worth $1062.78 USD.

GTA IV Complete Bundle
Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes
Anno 1404 Gold
FarCry 2 (EU/AU)
Hitman Collection
Left 4 Dead 2
Dead Space
Swords and Soldiers HD
Greed Corp
Disciples II Gold
King's Bounty: Collection
SimCity 4 Deluxe
Crysis Complete (ROW)
Machinarium
Super Meat Boy
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition
Overlord Complete Pack
Mass Effect 2 - Digital Deluxe

Think I spent about...120 euros in total. I kinda went with a mix of great games I haven't gotten around to yet, some indie-games that just looked too damn cool, and some oldies I really liked when I was a kid. Sure, it was a bit much, but now I'm set for the rest of the year and I got like a total worth of around 20-ish games for the price of 3 fully priced titles.

I.....already have like 200 games on Steam, so I only bought a few more:
Winter Voices (Episodes 0, 1 and 2)$10
Grand Theft Auto IV + the Expansions $10
Sniper Ghost Warrior $7.50
Arcania Gothic IV (turns out I love this game) $14.50 (iirc)
Divinity II the Dragon Knight Saga $19.99
Lumines (and four other Indies I haven't bothered with) $5 for the pack
Rise of th Argonauts $6
Darksiders $14.99
Call of Duty Black Ops (wait, I got this at Direct2drive on sale, nevermind) $48
Grotesque Tactics $3
A Reckless Disregard for Gravity (did not like...overhyped)$2.50
Need for Speed Split Second (love this game)$30
Oblivion (got the disc version, decided $12 was worth not having to pop the disc in every time I play...soooo lazy.....plus I got the expanded content with it)$12.50
Silverfall + Expansion $6

About $200...I think that's it this time.

Thanks to the monkeyverse mindset my sense of guilt at purchasing hundreds of Steam games over the last few years is pretty much nonexistent. I personally see no advantage to sending my wealth to third world nations without some reason to believe it will serve any better purpose, and even then...no. Don't care; if I couldn't spend it on bettering and/or entertaining myself and my family it wouldn't be worth earning, sorry.

Ghost Recon and Expansions
Overlord
Dead Space

The grand total was around $80 or $90. Good deals there were!

It appears my post was eaten. You up there, post? EDIT: Ahh, there it is. Sorry for the double post.

Also, I purchased all the Killing Floor character packs. In hindsight, I really wish I would have got FNV when it was cheap too. I've got it on Xbox but hey, mods are cool!

I expect it to be good, but didn't pick it up beforehand due to some graphical glitches I was getting from the demo. Hopefully the full game works more smoothly.
