I asked for a Colt M4 Carbine. I do hope that I get it. I mean, what better way to celebrate than shooting? The answer is that there is no better way.
Damn Straight. I got a Savage 64 .22. Not even close to a M4, but bullets come out of it and it's cheap to shoot.

Also got Captain America, Die Hard Collection(first two=best Christmas movies ever), and a couple books.

I should point out that the reason I know what I got is because I picked the stuff out. No surprises in my house.

I won an iPad from work at my Christmas party. I wrapped it and put it under my tree so I get to open something, does that count?

Hiking socks, an excellent sleeping bag, a massive bar of miners' soap [?], The Grand Design by Hawking and Mlodinow and one of those puzzles that are semi-impossible to take apart and that I therefore love.

Also, my family is paying for most of college and whatnot.

Edit: And the Simon's Cat book.

Sennheiser earphones, Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, undies, BBQ utensils, Norwegian goat cheese, gift voucher for camping gear. Quite an eclectic mix. Very happy. My 5 year old got a Lego police station and spent fully 3 hours on his own building and playing with it. This was the first Christmas or birthday in 3 years that I neither asked for or received a video game. I contemplated asking for Dirt 3 but Skyrim is all consuming of what little gaming time I have. Oh, I almost forgot that I also spent at least 30 minutes running around my neighbourhood with my wife after our neighbour's dogs got loose. It was pouring with rain, and then started hailing. Thunder, lightning...the works. Pretty funny in hindsight. Anyone from Melbourne will know what I mean :-D

I got a couple of books and some chocolate. Prior to Christmas my mum had asked for a list of games which I would like. I gave quite a large list to give her heaps of selections and she said she would get one. I restrained from purchasing some steam deals and now no games so I am smiling away while fuming inside.

Reading these posts I can see a clear correlation between number of gifts you receive and age. I am no the downward curve it seems :(

A Book on the top 500 anime movies.
A Ninetendo DSI with Pokemon Heartgold (Just started a new game and my starter was a female, fuck yeah.)
Aftershave, clothes and sweets.
Also Forty Pound in cash and a PSN £35 gift voucher.

I also got £20 and a big box of Celebrations from my Grandparents on Christmas Eve. It also helps that they're my Godparents as well. :)

Being Swedish, yesterday was the big day, and this year, we had family Christmas at my house. All week, my husband and I had been cleaning, baking, making candy, decorating and so on. Yesterday I got up early and did the last of the cooking. At one, my mother, her husband, my brother and his fiancée arrived and we ate from the big traditional Christmas smorgasbord I hade prepared until we all felt like bursting.

Then we opened presents. I got a lovely fast and powerful android smartphone and my first pair of ice skates since I outgrew my last pair 25 years ago. My children's main present was a Lego Mindstorms set. They are buildning their first project right now.

I really had a perfect Christmas. I usually do.
