I got to spend Christmas with my family and Skype with my girlfriend . Its the happiest I'm going to be for quite sometime because she is stuck overseas...she was suppose to be home for christmas but she has ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia) and it got worse while she was in Malaysia. Now she will be in Singapore for a new round of chemotherapy...she can't come home because the doctors don't think she'd survive the flight I want to be there for her but I can't afford to go. So now I can only be there through spotty internet connections, phone calls and texts for two and a half MONTHS ....so I'm just trying to spend as much time with her as possible and tell her how much I miss her and love her until she starts treatment at the beginning of the year. Then I'll be clinging to my phone for messages and updates...and worrying if I'll get that one message that something happened

I got an electric shaver and gift credit worth 5000 ISK, which is about $40, I believe. Not very much but I'm grateful, nevertheless.
I should mention that I have yet to receive one gift, since my grandfather had some problems with his blood pressure yesterday and was unable to show up. I'm just glad he's getting better now, since things could have turned out much worse.
