Snipers aren't really too much of an issue in Bad Company 2, because the game is objective-based and having too many people hang back to kill people at long range is going to be very detrimental to your team's efforts to get up close to the objectives.
...well, except Isla Inocentes on Rush, when you're on defense. Then there's such a thing as too many enemy snipers, because nearly all cover will be destroyed around the time the enemy team's tickets are starting to run dry, and you'll catch about twenty sniper rounds the second you spawn. That's a pain in the ass.
