I loathe this song by the Chemical Brother when it was first release. The beat really irratate me!

Not only that people like it but my former friend from High School who hate dance music in general love this song from some bizzare reason! More annoyance to me as they insist I should like it too!

The X-Factor or any other kind of TV singing competition.

I don't get it and I never will get it.
The only time I liked this show was when the contestants sang in a silent room to 3 assholes who laughed at them. Now it's all on stage and is just a pile of rubbish.

They only produce a handful of decent singers and 9/10 they're all just a bunch of assholes!

Will Young & Leona Lewis were the only decent people to come out of these shows for Great Britain.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

It was hailed for its 'awesome' writing and original story. Not only was the game play clunky and annoyingly repetitive to me (I'm looking at you, 'crash the Star Destroyer' level), but I fail to see how using the main villains from the movies as the main villains in your particular story is at all 'original'.

Whether you like the movies or not, Star Wars was a self-contained story with antagonists and protagonists that had understandable relationships. The Force Unleashed just tried to glom onto that story by inserting its own protagonist- which (if you accept any of this as part of the 'canon' of the universe) completely destroys the original story.

And if you need a specific example of why I hate. Hate. HATE. this game, look at the final scene of the light-side ending. Without too many direct spoilers: After slaughtering your way through hundreds, if not thousands of beings to get to the 'big bad guy', you are told that if you kill him, you will become as bad as he is. Yeah. So, what about all those bazillions of guys I killed on the way. They somehow don't count? Great writing. Yeah.

My Little Pony. Haven't seen the show, but I loathe the fanbase.

Assassin's Creed. I don't particularly hate it, but I have a dislike for it as they are all so pathetically easy to play.

Butter. I just cant stand it. It wouldn't be half as bad I didn't get people going "You dont like butter? What?!" It tastes bad, and it's bad for you. The only 'advantage' it has is that it makes sandwiches less dry, but I tend to like dry sandwiches.

Hate. For the life of me I'll never understand the lengths some people will go to to ramble on about the things they don't care for.

Nothing.

Not that I don't hate things, even popular things, but there is nothing in the world that the majority of people like. Even the most popular things in the world might be liked by 2-5% of the human population, and you can bet they are hated by at least 5-10%, who are reacting to the the fandom with a hype backlash.

That Steve Hughes clip about being offended.

That comes up all the fucking time on the Escapist. It's a comedic side-stepping around a sensitive and complex issue, but people paint is as if it's simple simply because there's a Youtube clip about it.

Steve Hughes is not a substitute for a thoughtful retort. He's just a fucking comedian.

That is the only thing which gets me legitimately angry on these forums.

Will Ferrell. There is nothing in the least bit funny about that man. And Elf was one of the worst movies that I've been forced to sit through about 12 times.

Popular music...there is nothing good about it, along with reality TV, and shitty shows like New Girl, as the only reason people watch it is because the characters look pretty.

To turn this thread around on its head, I don't hate R&P, like I assume most people here do.

Hmm, the main character in Persona 3. I've written essays on the subject about why he is an absolute twat. Regardless of how nice you as a player want him to be...

Doesn't stop people from making him out to be a complete bro.

The thing I hate is gum. It's disgusting to me.
The way it smells.
The way it sounds when people chew it.
The way it LOOKS when people just lazy chew it open mouthed so I can see every single second of its jiggly mass being squished and stretched and ewwww *shudder*....
I can agree with that. It's also a major tease; what's the point of chewing on something you can't actually eat.

I was going to mention this generation of Playstation consoles but I don't really hate them so much as they annoy the Hell out of me. There not really a lot I get good and hateful about...EXCEPT for Coke. I love the drinks but I hate how they gave me a brief glimpse of that ambrosial substance known briefly as Coke Blak. It must have been too good for mortal palettes considering its relatively short run. I will never forgive Coca-Cola for discontinuing Coke Blak. That being said though, I'm even more pissed at Pepsi for cockteasing me by releasing Mountain Dew: Pitch Black sporadically and for short times.

Borat. Everyone I know said it was hilarious, but I thought it was awful.

Tea. It's weird because sweet tea is basically a staple in the South, but to me every tea I've tried has been disgusting. It either tastes watery or leaves a slimy feeling in my mouth, ugh. No thanks, I'll have water.

Same thing with alcohol. I just don't see the appeal. It's tough in college not to drink, since the general consensus is that alcohol = fun. My hall mates get wasted all the time, but no matter how much they say they're miserable afterwards they just go back out again and again. It just seems like a really bad idea to go out just to get drunk, especially since they say that the drinks taste disgusting anyway.

Hmm... I'm really picky about what I drink it seems....

Captcha: It's Super Delicious... Oddly appropriate...
Have you bought real tea? Not ready from the box tea?

Peter Jackson in general and his shitty ass interpretation of Tolkien's work in particular. Read the books, then see if you can stomach the films.

I read the books before I saw the movies and I still like the movies a fucking lot, maybe even more than the books. I did miss the pillaging of the Shire, But I was glad not to have to sit through 200 pages of walking through a forest.

Mass Effect 2. There are several reasons, but the most glaring reason is fucking Thermal Clips.

TV Network Degradation. From MTV to SciFi to Cartoon Network to History Channel to Travel Channel to all other channels that add wrestling to their lineup. Is it really had to imagine why the US is falling so far behind other countries when you consider the shear amount of shit on The LEARNING Channel?
