Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
It was hailed for its 'awesome' writing and original story. Not only was the game play clunky and annoyingly repetitive to me (I'm looking at you, 'crash the Star Destroyer' level), but I fail to see how using the main villains from the movies as the main villains in your particular story is at all 'original'.
Whether you like the movies or not, Star Wars was a self-contained story with antagonists and protagonists that had understandable relationships. The Force Unleashed just tried to glom onto that story by inserting its own protagonist- which (if you accept any of this as part of the 'canon' of the universe) completely destroys the original story.
And if you need a specific example of why I hate. Hate. HATE. this game, look at the final scene of the light-side ending. Without too many direct spoilers: After slaughtering your way through hundreds, if not thousands of beings to get to the 'big bad guy', you are told that if you kill him, you will become as bad as he is. Yeah. So, what about all those bazillions of guys I killed on the way. They somehow don't count? Great writing. Yeah.
