This never fails to make me want to get up and go play a bit.

Most stuff I have heard from Scooter, some Basshunter. Let me see, ManoWar has some good stuff to my liking. Dragon force for sure, particularly this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yg8VFMZ6_g8 .

And some Foster the People and other stuff i got on Pandora.

For me it'd be these two:
This is the sort of stuff I imagine shooters listen to before they go on their rampages.

I have a few that I'll listen to depending on what it's for.

The following are songs I like to listen to before playing basketball.

The rest are songs I like to listen to before football or just to get me pumped up in general.

Definitely more of a slow burn, low-key, female vocals fan myself.
Eh, why not one more:

I got a few that comes to mind...

I do have few others, like this one, in particular [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0NhquyKaCU]... But, those four songs are the most poignant that get me pumped up... (and beyond...)

Edit: If I had a song that always pumps me up at any time, goes beyond, and tells me who I am as a person (simultaneously), then this song [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MqNSaPRq1g] takes the cake, hands down...

A few more can't hurt I guess. I'm going to get weird on you guys. Dead Can Dance has some truly inspiring and energizing songs I think. Thanks, Australia!
And again with the women. Olive has just a purely sexual sound. This is one case where the cover is superior to the original I think:

I find that kind of, offensive in a way. It's implying only murderous sociopaths listen to heavy music.

When taken out of context from the movie, this song is actually pretty damn badass. A great running song.

Pretty much anything by Manowar. The vast majority of their songs have a way of getting your blood pumping.

Well i've been trying to get good with Easy Mode Yu recently, his theme is hella fun.

A proper combat version of Reach Out to the Truth. Yes please!

Also i'm going to post old faithful

This would be a good running theme I would imagine. If I didn't have a thing against running in public anyway.

[HEADING=2]Wolfgang Gartner - Illmerica[/HEADING]

and, the classic:

[HEADING=2]ACDC - Thunderstruck[/HEADING]

At the moment these are the tracks that are getting me going... But, like most people, they do change often!

Even more so after this stupid royal baby birth...I wish we could just get Charles on the throne so that he starts interfering politically, and we have a valid reason to depose the whole lot.

Also I will add to OP's Pantera contribution:

Don't be offended. I'm just old now. I used to listen to stuff like NIN and Alice in Chains, and my friends all listened to Slayer way back in the day (early 90s). But I hear this music now and all I hear is the pent up aggression. All that aggression left me about 15 years ago but hearing this music reminds me of how angry I used to be able to become and how songs could actually pump me up and bring it out in me (like you say). I have to assume that same sort of adolescent rage is connected to shooter rampages. But that could just be me being old again. I'm actually glad it can still affect you and I encourage you to do as much as you can with whatever emotions music can bring out in you. From my experience, unfortunately, it doesn't last. But I guess that's what alcohol is for.

Oh, and I wasn't implying that only murderous sociopaths listen to heavy music. But I was implying that heavy music might be listened to by murderous sociopaths (as well as normal well adjusted people).

The songs sound so intense right now but it's funny to think these songs might be 'nostalgic' for you one day. (Like AC/DC is for me these days).

I'm not an aggressive person at all. I'm a really calm and quiet person. But, this is the sort of stuff that get's me going if I'm gonna work out or whatever.

I'm just tired of people writing it off as "evil" music, and I will defend it to the death.
