So now that we know what this is going to be and, we know about Mario & Sonic @ Sochi (which is the first Olympic game that looks appealing to me), all we can do is speculate on the third Sonic game Sega agreed to make with Nintendo. Hopefully it's a full on cross-over or third installment to Adventure.

I keep telling you people that it's Mario Kart X Sonic & All-Stars Racing developed by Sumo Digital based on that one tweet from the guy at Sumo Digital but you just won't have faith that it could be something so awesome...

Seriously, that crossover needs to be a thing.

Or maybe we'll get that Mario & Sonic platformer people seem to keep demanding for some reason.

...now that you mention it yes: I want Sega & Nintendo All-Star Racing. Sonic and Sega All-Star is a ton of fun but I don't want that + Mario, Toad, Luigi & Peach. I wanna see them take this thing all the way: Alex Kidd, Pitt, Ulala, Samus, Monster Hunter, Panzer-Dragoon...pilot(?)...that kinda thing.

Honestly I'd quite happily take Sonic & All Star Racing Transformed but with a tonne of Nintendo characters thrown in and a bunch more tracks from both sides, Transformed is quite easily my favouritekarting game to date. It's so easy to play and it's incredibly well balanced and an absolutely blast.

Short list for characters;

Mario, Sonic, Luigi, Tails, Knuckles, Peach, Toad, Dr Robotnik, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Alex Kidd, Samus Aran, Pit, Joe Mushashi, Ulala, Gilius Thunderhead (Golden axe Dwarf).

And a bunch more but I can't think of any specifics right now ):

But you get a high five as well my friend. All the talk about old Sega consoles and Sonic makes me wanna hook up my Megadrive. It still works and I've got every Sonic game released for it except for CD because I didn't have the CDi attachment.
Time for me to go play Sonic 2 as Knuckles. ^.^

But one thing I hope this game does is actually make it difficult to get an S rank as it was way to easy in Generations. I had to try to fail in that game. Colors was still a bit too easy on grading too, except for one of the bosses that I can't remember. However I found Unleashed's daytime grading to be a good balance between difficult and easy once you knew what to do.

I personally liked it because they usually would put secrets in those types of routes, plus it would keep me an my friend busy with a healthy competition. Of course in Generations it got to the point to where we were getting in the top 100 on the leader boards so it became too difficult to beat our times. XD

Don't worry, friend, you're not alone. I miss my Genesis sometimes. D: I've owned the original Genesis Sonic games on at least three completely separate systems. XD

OT: Sega, y u do this to me? If it doesn't get a PC release I'll have to buy a Wii U. I didn't want to spend that kind of money on another console yet. D:

I wish I had enough money for a nintendo console but as usual I'll probably end up playing it at my parents since that's where it'll live, so I'll let them make the first move. Plus my little brother loves sonic games so this game is practically in the bag.

They were thrown in a fire during the great purge that secretly occurred before production of Sonic Colors. All but Professor Pickles, who redeemed himself with this mod:
They made a new mod for Professor Pickle on the PC version of Generations, and that one replaces Sonic's voice clips with Professor Pickle's.

Fellow Genesis/Megadrive people, I thought I was alone. Anyways, yeah I need to wait myself until I buy myself a Wii U. Plus I can't play my copy of Colors because my Wii has its region lock broken so I could play imports since they were never released outside of Japan, like how most the Nintendo games I want aren't.

I'm sure the price will drop once the PS4 and the Xbox One come out so that Nintendo can try to undercut them a bit. Common business practice really. Mainly if the Deluxe edition were to drop about $25-$50 then it'd get more sales I think.
As for the person I think it's the same person who conducted what I call the great purge as mentioned above.
Dang it I wanna play some Sonic games, but I'm behind in my recordings and my friend is getting me into an MMO! >.>

Call me an old fogey if you like but: I'm so tired of full 3d sonic . . . I miss good ol' full 2d style Sonic. Thanks Nintendo and Sega for trying, but still . . . Sonic works best on the OLD mario and company system. Press right and jump until the fireworks go off, then fight a boss, rinse and repeat.

Tell ya what Nintendo, make another Prime-style Metroid, possibly a Zelda that isn't a stinker, and I may just get your quaint little game box sometime down the road.

Also Monster Hunter. Because that game series has eluded me for so long, and I'm the kind of person who is engineered to love it.
