So if Reach is the "grand finale", does that mean we never find out what happens to MC and Cortana?

more and more nails in the 360's coffin.
Microsoft really needs to pull their act together.
The upcoming E3 better be full of surprises ....

Is it just me, or does he sound like a bit of a presumptuous dick?

He's acting as if they've just announced that they're only making PS3 stuff.
Oh, he is.

Why would ps3 fans be excited about "Halo on steroids" I mean have not the sony execs been dismissing the franchise since the xbox, and any ps3 site you can find clearly lays out that the game is "a stupid kids game for xbox fanboy faygorts" To say nothing of the "hackneyed writing". Oh wait, now i get it this is like when Apple announced they were available with intel processers, i mean they've always had superior products but now they proudly announce they're using products from a company that other PC manufacturers have been using for years. That's marketing for you though, its just amazing how they're able to keep a straight face doing it. I mean at its core halo is just another FPS, my favorite thing about it over others is how well the vehicles work, or is this supposed to be an actual game in the halo universe? I'm sure as a previous mac game dev bungie is fealing dirty for all that money they made with microsoft, but since apple doesn't make consoles sony will have to help em wash the shame away.

/nerdrantrage off

In all seriousness more power to em. I don't have a ps3 but maybe someday.

Didn't Bungie say that Reach would be the last Halo game for quite a while? So... PS3 won't be getting Halo, will they?
They said it would be the last Halo game made by Bungie for at least 10 years, so no they will not be getting Halo. Plus from Bungie's job postings it doesn't seem like they are making a FPS, it sounds more like an action RPG, so I doubt PS3 would be getting Bungies FPS prowess anyway.

As far as I understand the deal, Bungie will develop a new IP for multiple platforms, so the games wouldn't be "on steroids", as the game engine would still need to be able to be run by the 360, so the difference would be trivial.

6 months and no 'Halo on Steroids'. Not even an announcement of something Bungie on the PS3...

I had the same thought. Then again all PS3 adds focus on the "presumptuous dick" style.
