Sony Exec: Bungie Deal Gives PS3 Fans "Halo on Steroids"

Well it's true, I imagine any Halo title is still the property of the Xbox however, but still perhaps new IP ideas will be showing up on the PS3 including maybe even a spiritual successor to the Halo franchise, but the name itself probably belongs to Microsoft.
Still, good for Bungie. Maybe with a more wide consumer base people can finally stop bashing them as 'hacks' and actually play the games they make for a change.

That's cool, but why must Sony try to sell us the power of the PS3 at every turn? We got it, the PS3 is great, but as we've seen with all multiplatorm games, they look the same on 360 and PS3.

so they just went from one greedy publisher to another. the only diffrence is sales from other platforms.
Does this mean Bungie are coming to Steam? That Halo 3 is coming to the PC?

That's a good point. Sadly, I think if there were ever plans to release Halo: Reach on the PC we would have at least seen Halo 3 there by now. Looks like they stopped porting after Halo 2.The Undoer said:

I beg to differ. There's not much in the PS3 line-up that i'm overly interested in. Whereas on the 360 - Splinter cell conviction, Alan fucking Wake!, Fable series, Gears series, Halo series, L4D series, Mass Effect series. (yes some of these are on pc, but im talking about titles between consoles, also PC - basically another Microsoft platform so win-win really)s69-5 said:
And that's only what comes to mind whereas if I think Playstation, there's not much there that i'd go out of my way for. The only 2 that come to mind on PS3 are little big planet (pass) and MGS4 (once again, pass).
Anyway this isn't a 360 vs PS3 thread but you forced my hand on that one. I wish they could just give the 360 some award like "Best console ever" to get everyone to shut up over the console war.

This could be good but what was the last game Bungie did besides something pertaining to the Halo series. That's all I know them for so correct me if I'm wrong.
Bungie are up to much as it is, any success will be down to halo fanboys and those who liked halo who will reliably be irritated at whatever crap they poor onto our consoles. but it will be interesting to see if they can get their act together after being free of microsoft and show us some serious talent.
