Own everything on that list, so I don't much care. Good for the people that don't, though.

Well I had an xbox and it was broken and I can never forgive the high fail rate of the 360 and as the wii is a festering pool of shovelware I'll stick to the pstriple. The free games are nice sadly the only 2 actual good ones are infamous and lbp of which I already own both. Do know I'm sticking with sony for the sake that I hate the other 2 consoles more than I am mad about the loss of information. The psn being down means nothing to me it's all about if my personal information was taken.

The rest of this comes off more as a trick to get people to subscribe to psplus and the movie rental with the "free" trial offers kind of how cable companies give you hbo and cinemax free for 90 days and then hope you want to keep it for a few hundred dollars more.

In short this is a rather piss poor apology and looks more like a scam to make up the money and avoid legal action by saying they tried to make it up and saying we are just greedy. Bad show sony very bad.

Rachet and Clank for me. And Wipeout, own INfamous and LBP never looked appealing to me. Does anyone have anything good to say about Dead Nation, i just looked it up and it looks kinda suckish.

I have three of these games and have done a review on Wipeout HD Fury. All jokes aside, if I didn't have Infamous and Wipeout this would be a no-brainer. If anyone wants to buy it, I suggest you take a look at what you are getting for free.

... I already own inFAMOUS, LBP, and Dead Nation, and I have no idea what the other two are.

Don't care about PSN +, movie rentals, and PS Home sucks. A lot.

Why can't they just let me download any two things of my choosing off of the PSN Store? Why do I have to choose off this list of games? :(

People are finding a way to complain about free games? *Head explode*
I know, right.

I was more than pissed at Sony, I was ready to walk away from the company and everything they make over the GeoHotz debacle that was a raping of a civilian through the corperate beuarocratic and legal system. The way I see it, the hacking of the PlayStation Network and theft of information was karma coming back to bite them on the ass. Over a month down and with their own wallets hit hard, I think they've been served their slice of humble pie.

Far as I'm concerned, they're forgiven. The free games is a nice way to make amends, but I don't think that was even necessary. Just restore the service and bump up the security so it doesn't happen again, and remember what happens when you try to screw the little guy.

I have all the ps3 games and don't own two of the psp games (Killzone and Modnation), so this kind of sucks for me. Sure, I get two psp games for free, good ones at that, but I get nothing on the ps3 side of things. Damn, this just stinks.

I reckon fans will love this, but as far as rebuilding brand loyalty, I think there are some problems that can never be fixed.

Free games or not, I can't imagine a time when nobody will bring up "Hey, remember that time Sony had that massive fuck up and people lost all their personal information?".

People will get over it, but they'll never quite let it go.
