I still won't get my Ciaphas Cain FPS...

I think he's pretty much the only Warhammer 40,000 character that actually gets laid...(but I could be wrong, there's a lot of damn books to read)
Well, with my limited experience (have only read Gaunts Ghosts novels so far) I can say that Gaunt gets some during the defense of the Vervun Macropol... oh, and Lijah fething Cuu gets some rape and murder done in Cirenholm, although rape is only implied.

By the way, I am still waiting for the big revelation that the Skaven have undermined the whole Imperium in 40k and are just waiting to make shit damn hilarious, bloddy and treacherous. xD

Wonder if they'll include a shooter version of Last Stand mode from DoW2? I'm super excited already, but that would make it a must have for me.
that would be all kinds of awesome!

Imperial technology is absed upno two things:

1. What plans they currently still have in our possession from the Dark Ages.

2. What factories do they still have that can produce everything we need from those plans.

Both are important and dwindling resources in the 40K universe. There are things the Imperials can't make anymore because they've lost all blueprints to make them or the factories have been long destroyed. The neat thing is that despite this, the Imperium still makes technological advancements (albiet much slower than they used to) with their pirmitive knowledge. The tech priests aren't stupid, they just don't have most of the information that details most machines the Imperium can't produce anymore. They're sitll making advancements on weapons and armour. Take for example Hellblast rounds to fight the Tyranid. The armour patterns since the Herasy have also gone up a few ranks. Most Chaos Warriors are still outfitted with grafted Mark III, Mark IV or Mark V power armour (plates of metal, now grafted to their skin because of The Warp exposure and mutations) while current generation Space Marines use Mark VII to Mark VIII Ceramite Power Armour (much stronger and works more like a ceramic scale armour). The time it takes to improve something is far greater because of misunderstandings of their own technology, but there are still new weapons, armour and vehicles still being produced and tested for combat effectiveness.
Don't Forget marine chapters giving the Vs to the mechanicus and creating new variations of tanks/ weapons/armour just to win a lone war, i.e. the land raider redeemer, the vindicator and the raven guards alternate silent power armour (See the white scars space marine battle novel)

Bloodletters working with psychers?
That doesn't sound right.
I thought the forces of the blood god didn't like wizards.

I'm looking forward to it. Mind, I imagine mere humans will be scenery and pathos generators, but hey.

The funny thing is after playing CoD Black Ops I could almost reskin everyone in the single-player campaign as characters from 40K and it would fit right in, so the new fps shouldn't throw people off much.

Sounds interesting if they get the AI right. if guardsmen don't make use of cover and numbers, they'll just be inconsequential chaff
That'll be their whole point in this game watch. :p

Having no good guys would be more interesting, but having the Vanilla Marines was the easy way out, if not the cool way. Personally, I'd rather see Space Wolves or someone at the very least more visually appealing/interesting than those boring ass Ultras. It would be better for marketing, as would be NOT doing orks right off the bat since they are really the comic relief of 40k. Comic relief that lops your head off and eats you, but silly none the less. Make Chaos, contract some metal vocalists to do some howling and yelling, have demons eating civilians... it would be cool as fuck.

I still really wanna play this as a Heavy Bolter dude if I can. And multiplayer BETTER be in and BETTER have customizable colors for my marines.

They don't. GW doesn't seem to enforce this in any of their video games.

As Ash from Army of Darkness says,"I ain't that good."

Warhammer 40,000, where religion is very serious business.
[sub]If over 10 trillion people are going to kill you and hunt you down if you say 'no,' you don't exactly have a choice do you?[/sub]

Yea I used to send a Cursed Librarian around with the Bloodthirster in Dawn of War. I haven't tried the chaos expansion for DoW2, do they still have that sacrilege possible?

This is good news indeed, although, admittedly, an announcement that chaos would be playable would reach a bit higher, but whatever, I am very much looking forward to this.

Blood for the blood god!
