Yeah, how are those bigger than they were in Remake? Maybe my eyes aren't as uniquely trained to spot miniscule size differences in CG boobs, but they look pretty much the same size. I'd actually say they look tad smaller than Remake. Can't believe I'm having this stupid conversation.

There may however be a legitimate business reason as to why SQUARE ENIX’s Ethics Department has gotten involved like this. Sony is cracking down on the amount of sexual content found on its platforms, something that I explored in great detail in my ‘Censorship in Gaming and Sony’ blog. Gonna be real here. This seems like bullshit. As far as I can tell she looks exactly the same size in both games.
My partner was a 32F for a long time, so I have a pretty good idea what that looks like, and since we're all apparently cool with just airing our weird sexual baggage in public here I won't bother concealing it. I'm super into that, to the point it's kind of a fetish rather than a preference (literally the most cringe and boring fetish I have). I think about and focus on boobs a lot.
But real boobs are not balloons that sit on a person's chest. They are made of soft tissue, so they are shaped by clothing and gravity. Because of this, it is very difficult to guess a person's bra size from how they look because the same person can look completely different from one outfit to another. Someone in a sports bra can look like they have less pronounced and flatter boobs because a sports bra is meant to compress all the tissue down and stop it jiggling around. Push up bras make boobs look bigger by making them stick out more and emphasizing the parts which are visible in clothing. Swimwear doesn't have the support of an actual bra so has the opposite effect. Tifa doesn't look exactly the same in each outfit, but real people don't either.
Like, I don't look at Tifa's sports bra outfit from the previous game and think "oh no, they made her boobs smaller." I just think someone designed her to look like a ridiculously stacked person in a sports bra. That shit's hot. That's the kind of high-effort perversion I can respect.
So yeah, this just looks to me like an attempt to gain cheap publicity by pandering to people who have spent very little time around real boobs and want female characters to look like beachball chested anime titty monsters rather than actual people, or who see a lot of Ds after a number and experience neuron activation while having no idea what it actually means.
