China is pretty much the most backwards, tyrannically ruled bomb of a first world country. Poverty is common place, the rich rape the people for all their worth and the "government" goes to great lengths to murder silence and arrest anyone who speaks up. They have the highest ratio of executions of any country on Earth and an utter joke of a criminal justice system, all but ensuring innocent people and anyone the government doesn't like go missing or have their head blown off on a daily basis. They give new meaning to the term political prisoner. Nothing that comes from that country surprises me.

So what happens if he doesn't win? China bans the game instead? Because that makes them look so good.
OK in fairness, as far as I can tell this is just some guy and not actually representing the Chinese govornment, but unless the game is in as poor a taste as that joke, what's there to be offended about? Chinese people get shot, in China. Why is that... oh because they're police? But arn't they corrupt police on the payroll of a crimeboss? And that's not even a statement about corruption in China; Western games, even games specifically set in America, use corrupt police as enemies all the time! It's actually a compliment, saying the police are a force for good, a force for order, a force so great that betraying them by taking a criminal's money makes it ok for the player to slaughter you in droves.

This can't go through, but it'd go well as Chinese propaganda, so they'd probably throw some weight behind it. Either way, the right to complain should be upheld, but suing over what amounts to "it might give people the wrong idea based upon a video game whose main characters are sociopaths" is a bit silly.
And if its over misrepresentation, I reserve the right to sue anytime someone butchers a British accent in a game.
