Hm...I like the way you think.
I personally don't care about FF8...that matches how I feel about all the current Final Fantasy installments.

After watching Final Fantasy 7 Advent children, I got an idea...
Would a remake of FF7 allow you to play the game without Cloud?

Cause you asked. Square WILL remake FF7 and every character will be Cloud. And worst...every Cloud will be voiced by.........................................Arnold Schwarzenegger!!!! NO SUBTITLES!

Nah, every Cloud character would be voiced by Keanu Reeves.

Keanu Reeves would get at least....7 characters right. Arnold Schwarzenegger would be off track all the time. And he would shout alot in Inglesh.(It's spelled correctly.)

It seems like it would be something that they would want to do soon, right? I mean, the main people that would buy it, the huge fans of the original, are growing up. If they wait too long to do this, those people are more than likely going to have families, careers, other things going on, and probably will not be dedicated gamers. I played the game when it came out when I was 13, and I own a 360, but I feel like I probably won't be gaming after the next gen, because of my career and family.

On the other hand, sales on PSN were very good, so maybe they hit sort of a reset button, and bought themselves some time. Thoughts?

We're on the same wavelength, Im desperate for those 2 to come out on the store as they are my favourites.

Also, I hope they never remake FF7.
Because it will fuck up the industry, everyone clamouring to remake old games, Square giving up on new titles and just re-releasing the old ones in HD,

You just know that they would release a Crysis-quality FF7 this generation and in 10 years people will be bitching because they need better graphics, forcing Square to make another remake, the cycle would repeat itself for ever.

First off, if by "least BROUGHT Square game" you actually meant "least BOUGHT," Then I admit that I wasn't backing it up with any solid research.
What I really meant to say is that no RESPECTABLE rpg gamer would be caught dead playing the crap they release anymore. I have much better things to worry about then doing sales research for a crybaby Square fanboy.
Good luck with making that macro image, I'm sure after you finish you'll be able to spend your time much more wisely by playing FFXII and going to Square conventions dressed as a moggle.

I'm quite against the idea of a remake, and I'm glad that Square is as well.
The whole thing seemed like it would be an unnecessary effort, one that would take quite some time. Also let's not forget how many fans would cry foul if something were to be messed up.. oh boy.

I just think appreciating the game in it's original form would be the best solution to this fiasco. I mean, what if somebody announced they are going to redo the Mona Lisa after all of these years? I could imagine there would be plenty of "Why is it necessary!?" comments. The same applies to FF7.

Yes I have horrible spelling I wont even try to hide that and for reference my punctuation and grammar is fucking horrible. Thank you for also admitting what I already know and that you don't actually have a point and are instead just trying to insult me.

When you say respectable by what manner do you define respectable? I've played RPGs you probably don't know exist made by companies you didn't even know made RPGs but that doesn't give me the right to tell you that your not a respectable RPG player whatever they hell that is supposed to be defined as. Seeing as you claim to not even play the crap they release I wonder how you are actually arguing your point without research.
