Since it'll be a sequel to REPUBLIC Commando, they could put you in as a crack Rebel Squad. Or does the rebellion not have those?
Ahhh youth, those who never played the flight sims. I believe that it's been noted that Tie Fighter for the PC from 93(?) was the best game put out in star wars EVER!nikomas1 said:(normal settings) God I remember the first time I med some SBDs in that game, most of my squad were down to medium health and I got to that small room in the underground part of the level, before I knew it both Sev and another of the guys went down, I and the last guy tried to kill one of them, but I dropped soon thereafter, needless to say, I didn't get revived.captain awesome 12 said:I have been known to do soRandom argument man said:captain awesome 12 said:Like not having to pour all your ammo into a Super Battle Droid for five minutes to make it go down?Random argument man said:If they did, I just wish for one thing. A bit of realism when shooting bad guys.
You catch on pretty quick.. The reason I think they did that was because Battle Droids and Super Battle Droids would end up too similar in actuality in terms of how many hits they could take. However in trying to make them stronger they made them nearly invulnerable, and made the only option for survival taking down their dispensers before they could release too many SBDs.
That game was still so awesome, best starwars game ever, PERIOD!
I lost my copy for the pc...NXMT said:I just re-installed it yesterday and I'm having a blast. Still, if you need a simplistic tactical shooter fix in the same vein, there's always Rainbow Six: Vegas.

Mmmm Ion bullets eh? Seems like a good idea.Knight Templar said:How about different ammo types?Random argument man said:If they did, I just wish for one thing. A bit of realism when shooting bad guys.
Yes it is legal. And yes, this game needs a sequel.linchowlewy said:i absolutely loved the game to death, best starwars game ever. unfortunately the disc broke and i don't want to buy another copy. would it be legal if i downloaded an ISO?
oh and ontopic. yes they must make a sequel, no star wars game deserves it more than this one.
Now that you mention it, it was a well designed game! It had a half decent story, it was linear but enemies and areas opened up at a steady pace - it didn't delivery too much too soon. The characters were solid, if a little under utilised.Fronken said:I never played the Xbox version but i played the PC version all the time, finished it like 8 times or something, it was just so great, Great graphics, great level designs, perfect learning curve, Flawless controls and a sweet story.
I'd love some Anti-Jedi rage. Perhaps one of the missions could be hunting down the most elusive Jedi when the Empire decides to F' over the Republic. That could be seriously awesome.cthulhu257 said:If the guns actually have some stopping power, a sequal would be awesome. Some Jedi-killing would be nice, too.
Amen to that, the republic commando novels were really something else...seerbrum said:If any are still interested in the Story Arc, a series of Novels for Star Wars Extend universe were release by Karen Traviss... In my opinion, maybe the best then to come out of Star Wars fiction.
