I'd love to see a second game made, esepcially one that follow one of the other units. Like Omega squad.

If any are still interested in the Story Arc, a series of Novels for Star Wars Extend universe were release by Karen Traviss... In my opinion, maybe the best then to come out of Star Wars fiction.

Sadly if you remember though, The end of republic commando is right as Order 66 comes down, meaning the story ends.

Although if anyone curious, Walon Vau actually rescuses Sev from the wookie home planet, and another Commando inherits Vau's Trill (120 years later)

But it ended on a cliffhanger, And yoda was the one who contacted him, Not the Order 66.

Im sure there was talk of a 2nd game, but it was panned. BRING IT BACK!

god, those where the days. The order was given by the helmets, right? So why not just have delta squad not have helmets on? I know it sounds stupid, but you had a function of not having a helmet on, and I'm sure that your team would so looking for(I forgot who bit it at the end) and would encounter plenty of clones trying to kill them. Maybe have you join the Jedi in one last stand on Kashike(sp?) against the clones? I don't know, but it's time to look through my Xbox games again.

I didn't feel that the game was actually very good in terms of mechanics (either shooting or the so called "tactical commands"), but I did enjoy the story and there were more than a few exciting set pieces (slicing the firing terminals on the Republic Assault Ship while waves of enemies threw themselves at you was pretty exciting). I'd probably play a second one just to see the story wrapped up since I recall the game ended on a complete cliffhanger.

Does anyone ever remember playing Star Wars Republic Commando for the original Xbox? For how good of a game I thought it was, it wasn't really talked about much. Does anyone else think it would be cool if they made a new S.W.R.C.2 for the updated platforms?

I bought an xbox again just to play that game. It's my dream game.

I actually think that a certain George Lucas declared Republic Commando and it's spin-off book series non-canon because it conflicts with the Clone Wars series on Cartoon Network (the bad one, not the awesome one by Genndy Tartakovsky).

I know nothing about the star wars lore so this is could be a retarded idea but here it goes anyway, what if they set it like 20 years after the imperials took power and delta squad is a new grizzled beat up version of what it was before and raging a rag tag spec ops war against the imperials.
