Obviously there will be a subscription fee. They havnt confirmed it yet but i would bet any money it will cost the same as WOW/WAR since they cost the same and from what i gather its pretty much the 'standard' high profile MMO subscription fee. Its like $15.00 a month or sumin, like £9.00 if your British.archvile93 said:Have they said what kind of payment systems the game's going to use yet? I won't pay a subscription.
Don't worry no offence taken i was genuinely wondering what anyone could dislike about the gameZeithri said:Probably the same reason you said what you said ^_^Acidwell said:And why would you say that?Zeithri said:This just keeps getting worse and worse!Acidwell said:This just keeps getting better and better.
Didn't mean any offense, just thought it'd be funny to quote it![]()
In that case, I officially have no interest in this game whatsoever.Mandal0re said:Obviously there will be a subscription fee. havent seen anything yet but my bet is they'll do the same as Blizzard does with wow, host in the US but put the time stamp on local timespinFX said:Also: still waiting for a word on a local hosted Oceania/Australian server.
Anyone know anything?
Well, it has already been confirmed that Jedi will be able to play as a Togruta (Shaak Ti or Ahsoka), and most likely Twileks as well.Nossy said:Silly question. Will there be any races to choose from or is everybody human?
We'll see if you feel about it that way after hearing non-stop fully voiced dialogue...Zeithri said:Shortly said?
It's WoW. Just WoW.
I'm sure it'll be great because, It's Star Wars WoW <_<
All I can see when I look on that game is WoW made by Bioware..
No love for Wookiees? Sad.Soviet Heavy said:Well, it has already been confirmed that Jedi will be able to play as a Togruta (Shaak Ti or Ahsoka), and most likely Twileks as well.Nossy said:Silly question. Will there be any races to choose from or is everybody human?
Picking at nits here, but the Republic class with the white armor and big ole blaster is simply called the Trooper, or to further clarify, the Republic Trooper. An Imperial Trooper would be a grunt under the Sith Empire. [/nitpicking]John Funk said:Also, now we know what the Sith "tank" class is - smart money says that the Republic will get an equivalent as a subclass of either the Imperial Trooper or Jedi Knight archetypes.
And you aren't seeing the fact that Bioware has been most careful about what they release. They don't make a promise of something that has not already been implemented into this title. In fact, they made sure to stick to that because they knew how stupid it would be to promise things that don't make it into the MMO at launch day. Hence, this is more than just 'pretty words that Bioware promises' - for once this is what we'll get.Zeithri said:You are't seeing the big picture.Loonerinoes said:We'll see if you feel about it that way after hearing non-stop fully voiced dialogue...Zeithri said:Shortly said?

And combat with animations that, for the first time in an MMO, actually react to what happens around the character...
And the relevance of the healer/tank/DPS trinity reduced so that you don't have to spam "LFG!" nonstop for instances...
You're only seeing the pretty words that Bioware promises.
This is simply WoW but improved.
