Perhaps they need to construct additional pylons?

Anyways, I think a lot of people saw it's new release date coming, but at least we have tons of other games coming out this Fall + Winter to keep us occupied!

Well now this sucks, Dibalo wont come out till what 2013? At the rate they go all the starcraft games wont be out till 2011-2012. God why can't they work faster, or hirer more people considering they make over a billion a year with WoW.

I don't get why companies constantly do this. They overzealously say something is coming, then because of their own stupidity, it gets delayed. Maybe if they just annouce "Hey! A new game will be out soon!" people wouldn't get pissed off at them for missing a deadline.

When I have a deadline to meet at work, I get fired if I don't make it.

All in fairness though who is actually shocked by this, Blizzard delay games to make them better, if they ever listened to us then WoW would have blown up ages ago.

But you are correct in that. Delays are not always a bad thing and most of the time happen for good reason. However this time the game play vids look outstanding and it seems like they are holding out to boost next years first Q profits.

Actually, from what I understand, the delay was more due to the new Battle.net, and less to the state of SC2 itself.

I never understood why game developers even bother making a release date. I can't recall any game I highly anticipated coming out on time. Either that or they need to just grossly overestimate when it comes out, then the worse that could happen is you get the game earlier than you expected.

There was planning a press relise in stating they where going to stop delaying there products and would plan on saying it be out when its out, but they delayed the press relise till very notice.

Wow, this game has been pushed back so far, so may times.

Errrr... not that many times, honestly. They officially announced it in 2007 and they didn't even have an official release date then.

I fail to see the outrage over SC2's delay. It'll be done when it's done and I haven't paid them a single dime for their game quite yet. Why sweat over it?

No, it's the first time we've heard anything official. Everything else has just been third parties predicting.
