Apparently the demo for this game has hit a chord, it came close to having 700k simultaneous users at one point. In context, that's almost twice the numbers the ff7r demo did.

The developers have asked people to stop. They dont want people burning out on the demo before the game even comes out.Apparently the demo for this game has hit a chord, it came close to having 700k simultaneous users at one point. In context, that's almost twice the numbers the ff7r demo did.
Japan and Korea never stopped, so probably. As for the west, maybe a couple will use its success as a marketing pitch. Though it prolly won't be any super big name studios. Which imo is a good thing too.The developers have asked people to stop. They dont want people burning out on the demo before the game even comes out.
I wonder if Steller Blade becomes a hit if we will see more character designs follow the example.
Stop what?! STOP WHAT?! They were selling people on the horny, so what the hell were they expecting? This is what you wanted, so this is what you get! There's no turning back now!The developers have asked people to stop
Stop playing the game....because if the burn themselves out playing the demo, they wont be interested in playing the real game. Or maybe they are worried that people will use up all their lotion. I don't know.Stop what?! STOP WHAT?! They were selling people on the horny, so what the hell were they expecting? This is what you wanted, so this is what you get! There's no turning back now!
That's bullshit and we all know this. The lead director is lying to himself, that ignorant, or he's stupid. For his sake, I'll go for the first two options, but he and his team have clearly not been in the game dev business long enough.Stop playing the game....because if the burn themselves out playing the demo, they wont be interested in playing the real game.
I do recall something fairly similar with Killzone 2, because that game had huge overexposure pre-release because of the ZOMG! graphics and hype behind it being a big PS3 showcase. Like there was preview after preview and then of course a demo, and reviews were nearly a month early, etc. I mean the game was still amazing technically but the fatigue of it all was already setting in at launch for anyone who followed it all.Stop playing the game....because if the burn themselves out playing the demo, they wont be interested in playing the real game. Or maybe they are worried that people will use up all their lotion. I don't know.
It was probably in relation to criticism about the game's aesthetic, a reaffirmation that they indeed kept everything good in the game. Some mild controversy: the Korean studio recently released a statement saying that Stellar Blade would be released in all regions "uncensored", leading western fans wondering what it could possibly have that was particularly objectionable but more interestingly, having Japanese gamers wondering why it only got a CERO D rating for gore when games like Resident Evil were altered and Dead Space was refused entirely

Which one? Because all of the Greek Era GoW games are gorier than Steller Blade. If it's Norse Era, then yes, but not by much. It's closer to GoW.

Hilariously to someone who usually hears of Sony as prudish, some are accusing Sony of using its status to flaunt the guidelines, or even accusations of bias against western developers.
Gamer discourse really is the same everywhere
Well there's the first warning sign right there. Eve is not unique in any regard to that. You got to bring something else to the table Mr. Lead Developer.you get to fight enemies as a beautiful woman" or something like that. Like basically he felt the need to highlight the character's appearance even when unasked. Which just made me lol.
I mean you can get that out of the demo really. The game's got nothing to offer besides combat and tits. The story is nonsense, the characterization is nonexistent, and it's all just window dressing for the player to fight shit as a sexy robot lady, which is pretty old school video games to be honest. Back in the day players didn't need much reason, blah blah blah princess, blah blah go fight/shoot shit, the end.Well there's the first warning sign right there. The funny thing is I'm totally cool with "combat and tits" as a game. I would totally play the tits out of such a game. But:I mean you can get that out of the demo really. The problem being we've already seen done better back in 2017, and all the way back in 1994 since we're talking about cyborg girls. Take out the the cyborg and just regular females that can still fight, and Eve is not special any regard. The combat's not good or questionable at best. If I need tits/ass that badly there are other options right now that have better combat. I already own them.I mean you can get that out of the demo really. Ignore them. They'll use anything as a stepping stone for their soapbox to indoctrinate and radicalize those that are vulnerable or idiotic. That it's become a cassus belli for the right-wing hentaibater gamergate chuds on the internet.
