I'm paranoid of powercuts, doesnt matter where I am or what I'm doing I seem to be constantly on edge that the power will go out any second!

Also when I turn my back in the hallway at home at night, I head downstairs to get a drink before heading back up to bed most nights, I mean I was just looking down there, I know nothing is down there, I will turn around in a moment to head back the way I came and there will be nothing there... and yet for that moment when I turn my back I think something is going to come out of the darkness behind me, makes me run a little back upstairs to my bedroom when I'm done

I also have a really hard time being the one to start a conversation with someone on instant messenger, because I'm really paranoid about coming off as weird, desperate, and lonely.
Ok, I'll admit to this too.
Also, I just get paranoid at night in general.

When I'm in a room with other and have my earphones plugged in to listen to music or whatever, I get really paranoid about how loud my breathing is. It always seems really loud when I'm listening to music and another person is in the room.

People seeing what's on my computer screen or what I'm reading, even if it's nothing to be ashamed of. I also hate lying about my age for accounts online. I also get paranoid when police officers drive behind me. I never having anything illegal and I hardly ever speed, it just feels like they're waiting for me to do the slightest thing wrong. Being a teen driver sucks.

My friend is terrified of chickens. He honestly thinks they will take over the world.

I am terrified of closets. I cannot sleep or even go into my room at night if I left the closet open. I thank The Ring for that.

Secondly, like many have said.. when I hear people laughing.

I get paranoid about whether I'm being paranoid or not. Usually this comes up when I wonder what people are thinking.

It's always (internal monologue):
"Something's wrong. Do I ask or will I just annoy them by asking."
"Nothing's wrong, you're just being paranoid, shut up."
Awkward silence
"I'm not paranoid, see, this is awkward."
"It's only awkward to you, and still, paranoia."

I am terrified at the thought of driving. I feel as though my attention span is so short, that I'll look away and then be destroyed by a semi-truck or something.

I also am ultra-paranoid about hallways. I always move down them by side stepping, so I can see that both directions are clear. Yeah..

Also Slender Man. He is real. I swear to god.

Getting good seats at the movies. Seriously, I get shit for it all the time from friends.
I have the same thing, I dont want to be stuck in a bad position, either behind a tall guy or up the very, very front! It annoys me. My mate doesnt mind though.

OT: That the lock isnt locked when I just locked it, I tend to check if things are locked. Alot.

I always get paranoid when I'm walking alone up my street from my friend's house. Its because I walk by a nice dark patch of trees everytime and I always think that some sort of creature like a werewolf is going to come barrelling out of there to make me its meal.

EDIT: I also double check everything and I mean literally everything. I can know that a paper is due on Wednesday, but then I must check over and over again just to make sure I have the date correct. Especially if someone from the class asks me when something is due I don't want to be that jerk who gave them the wrong date causing them to fail the assignment. Thats really probably my strangest thing I get paranoid about.

it sucks when you are trying to sleep.
Just sleep on your back, that way you arent facing a wall with your back. Next level sleeping maneuver.

OP: I always have to check under my bed and in my closet.

Title says all, what is the strangest thing you get paranoid about?
Organ harvesting.

Or rather, the thought that everyone is running some sort of convoluted plot that involves harvesting my organs.
Everyone
And not the GOOD kind of harvesting! The bad kind, the kind that leaves you in a bath of ice with ugly scars, severe blood loss and about half an hour left to get to a hospital.

I am occasionally worried that my parents or sisters have hidden pinhole cameras in my room and are watching me on their laptops.

It's especially irritating during "me time". Especially when I hear them laughing at something in the living room.
This so much. I always check my room first to make sure I can't see any visible cameras. And if I'm using headphones, I pull them off every few seconds and hold them away from head to see if I can hear them, that is, if I'm watching.

I only got really paranoid when I started doing it again after stopping for so long :/

I'm also paranoid about drinking soda out of a can, I always think there will be ants or some other small insects in it. Don't know why.

Sometimes when I walk on the Pier in this town, I sometime feel that it would break apart and with me fallen into the sea below (can't swim). The Pier itself is of course in good condition.

They freak me out too. We're right by a massive river here, on site, and there's loads of ducks. I made a comment about not walking back via the towpath the other night, saying that ducks could easily hide flick knives, and what's more, they hate all of us humans.

My friend said it was disconcerting to hear my first concern was not one of assault or mugging, but ducks with flick knives.
Can't say I've ever worried that a duck will be hiding a knife. Until now. Thank you for that...
The ones round here are evil little bastards. Ever had a path blocked because ducks have decided to form a little picket line across it? Happens pretty regularly. They also laugh if people trip over or drop things.

I dislike the webcam on my laptop, and worry that it's on when it isn't. Sometimes I cover it with electrical tape.

I'm in constant fear that someone will try to cut my hair, because I'm growing it out.
