Fox News is going to jump all over this.
And distort the hell out of it in the process.
Shall I get the popcorn, "wah-wah" machine and the violin?

OT: PAY for porn?

I shall stick to my normal free internet porn like the rest of the common rabble. GOOD DAY SIR!

Sooooooooooooo Sony absolutely refuses to allow it's players to join in the Mass Effect 3 promotional weekends and get the rewards (>.> still waiting on Raptor and hoping that Resurgence packs will actually come out...but that's beside the point), but they're now more than happy to sell their players porn?
I was going to make essentially the same point, but you beat me to it. Apparently, pay-for-porn trumps gaming on their, you know, game console.

So, when you say $7.95 for unlimited streaming, with 20 minutes of on-demand footage, followed by a "pay by the minute" type of plan...isn't that technically not unlimited? Unless "on-demand" is somehow different than what this type of service provides already; a variety of choices that you can pick to stream. How that is different from "on-demand", I have no clue.

I can't tell if the article is accidentally promoting the website or not, you put up quotes from them telling everyone how great it is, list prices and services, and have the link in the image while saying you won't give any direct links.

Aside from this, I can't wait for fox news to blame games for this again.

Seems like an intelligent move a long time coming. If there is one lesson to take from Netflix and Steam it's that people will pay for content given an easy portal to do so, porn being the most pirated thing on the internet I'm sure this service can make a lot of money provided they have an easy interface.

I'm already hearing countercries against Fox News about Job Creators and a free market in my head.
Well you see, gays and mexicans scare the job creators (by which I mean the rich, who create jobs just by being rich), stifling the free market.

Also, Obama is a Nazi, because we all know the Nazis loved blacks (and muslims, which he obviously is). This may seem irrelevant, but 80% of the stories on Fox News lead back to it, so they must be on to something/
Are you spying on the freepers? That sounds like something someone who frequents Free Republic would say.

Thats the key to the feminist argument right there.

Good luck making fists of money from the console gamer community.

Unlimited high quality porn for 8$ a month?

Thats..... actually not a bad deal. Unfortunately, the last time i tried to watch porn with my wife, we ended up laughing, eating ice cream, and talking about how disgusting the guys legs were. So i dont think this service is for me.

So wait, pro gamers being sponsored by porn sites is a disgrace to the industry and presents the wrong image, but straight up offering porn on a console is A-Okay?

Come on video game industry, just give us some consistency.

I don't think 'blast' is the best word to use here. :p

Anyway, I'm not sure how many people will actually pay for porn. And I'd be a bit freaked out if I was playing a friends PS3 and they say, "You know that controller? [sub]it's had my sticky cum hands on it![/sub]"
I'd hope they wouldn't say that, but if I saw that on their PS3 I'd probably drop the controller faster than a hot potato.

Oh well. I suppose it's better than all those virus-riddled porn sites.
Time to start bringing my own PS3 controller when I go to my friend's house...

My first thought as well, just before: "Great this is what gaming needs, more association with its stereotype." But then Sony probably figured they could make a lot of money with this (maybe even more than they do with PSN), so they sold out, plain and simple.

Meh. I still prefer Stumble's "Sexuality" searches than it's "pornography" searches, because at least the former occasionally captures genuine humanity. The latter does it occasionally as well, but the former is just the form of the thing.
