Stretching your ears? Attractive or not?

I'm currently at a 00. My end goal is a half inch maybe even a full inch. I try to do it as healthy as possible waiting good periods between stretches. I usually dead stretch because its easier then tapping. I just wan't to know what you guys thought about the whole thing. I really feel like its the new piercing method. I like it because it kinda has that tribe feel to it. I know a lot of people are going to say hey you're going to regret that when you're older or yeah you gonna get them surgically redone but that's not really the case. Most employers (at least in a professional environment) don't mind. So what are your thoughts on the subject?

Ewww... I don't like it
But i also don't like Tattoos, Branding, Piercings and makeup on people - so i am not the targeted group i guess.

It's mostly sexual though - No problem with all of the above on friends, coworkers and such. But all of these are pretty much a "Boner-killer" (sorry for that) for me.

But what i learned when you do something is: Don't care too much of what other people's opinion is on something you are doing (In Moderation... if all your friends are screaming: NONONONO, please don't do THAT, we beg you... they might be unto something)

Care about how YOU feel with it (Factor in how it feels for you when other people react to it.)

A good friend of mine decided to stretch his earlobes, working to higher and higher gauges. He moved on to getting his entire left arm tattooed completely black. Make no mistake, he's white, and his entire arm from his wrist to just over his shoulder is completely black. I believe the last thing he did was split his penis. He told me of the almost uncontrollable bleeding, and to this day I still wonder why he did that.

I just...I dunno, man. Just don't let it get out of control. Seems that the few people I know who do decide to get body modifications (including tattoos) will sometimes end up with one person going more and more extreme. I only know one other person with tattoos and she decided to get her entire back tattooed with a giant dragon. Thankfully she had the sense to get tats only in spots that won't normally be visible in a work environment. I just hope you know when to stop.

I think it's cute when it's smaller, but hugely stretched lobes kind of freak me out a little bit. You do you though, no judgement from me. Some people get so uppity about body modifications.

I don't find it attractive at all...though, I don't find any piercings attractive.

OTOH, eh, I doubt many people are that concerned with what I happen to find attractive.

I'm not a fan of anything bigger than a 00 & even that can be iffy. While it's not my thing, I don't judge.

When my cousin began gauging her ears she asked my opinion & I told her anything bigger than a 6 would look bad because she has tiny ears, so I guess it depends on the person.

Sorry, but it's a solid "hell no" from me. Call me shallow, but I just can't deal with the way it looks. Would not do, ever. Would rather knot my beard, which is against some religions I can think of.

I also misread the title the first time as "Scratching your ears - attractive or not?" Yes, OP, that I find endearing beyond belief. It's sexy off the charts for reasons I have no understanding of whatsoever. Then when somebody flicks their hair out of their eyes, I just...oh no.

You can do whatever you like to your own ears, but personally I don't find it attractive in the slightest. I don't mind tattoos though, they can look quite pleasing to the eye if done right.

You mean like plugs? I used to think they were kind of cool until I knew two people who had them.

The first said stretching them was a pain and that she used to basically get `ear cheese` if she didn't keep them obsessively clean.

And the second is considering surgery because they don't wear plugs any more.

So it's a sold `meh` for me. I don't think they're unattractive, but they're not really attractive either.

Basically this.

I think the smaller ones can look really cute on people if they have an appropriate style to go with it.

While I have no problem with people wanting to stretch their ears, I don't find it to be attractive.

I don't know why, but it makes me retch, I'm not of a fragile constitution, piercing, tattoos etc don't phase me, nor does blood or injury, but something about stretched ears turns my stomach.

NO, not really, they like beast stamps (chest tats) a bit silly. But after a few pints I doubt it'll matter :p

Ah, so these big earrings with holes in them are called ear stretching? I never knew. When I read "ear stretching" I just thought you guys were talking about some kind of New Age ear stretch exercise and imagined people tugging at their ears before a workout o_o

What do I think about those things, though? First thing that comes to mind is this
I don't think that's... good looking? Anyway, the only people I see running around with something like this are people who also have piercings and tattoos etc. I think tattoos are fine, but I imagine stuff like this will be a bother during sports or whatever. Also, it's too visible for my taste.

I don't have any problems with the small ones, they just look like earrings that go all the way through. The big, >1-inch ones squick me out a bit though. Aside from that crap probably getting a bit heavy, I just don't think anyone needs a hole in their ear they can pass a hot dog through.

Wait, WHAT?! That's a thing now?! Can someone explain this to me, because I can't fathom why anyone in their right mind would do such a thing. I can understand sex change operations and the like, but why go to such an extreme as mutilating your junk for fashion?! It's not like you're going to be able to show it off to the public (at least I hope not), and I doubt they'd be impressed if you did.

As for ear stretching, I don't find it attractive. At all. It makes my stomach churn a bit to see skin unnaturally stretched out like that. I don't see why stretching one's earlobe is necessary when a similar style can be accomplished with large hoop earrings (a look I find very striking on certain women).

But hey, whatever floats your boat. I'm not going to stop you or think you're a terrible person if that's what you want to do.

Sorry but no, I like tattoos and piercings but stretched earlobes are a step to far to me. That said if you like it go for it.
