No, she isn't. I love her to bits and she's my favourite character of all time, but she's not a strong person. That's the point. The cult was trying break her and they did. She didn't throw in the towell though which is means she isn't that weak, but she isn't strong. She's a teenage girl and pulled her off perfectly, almost.CanOfBeans said:Heather from silent hill 3 is also a strong character, mainly because she didnt go crazy from the event that happened to her. heck i dont think i would survive the horrors of silent hill.
what about sheik?The3Apocalypses said:Strong- Elizabeth Greene - Just so overpowered, it's ridiculous.
Weak- Zelda - has she ever done anything, really, other than give you a couple of arrows?
That's a really awquard definition for a weak character. Your examples don't even make much sense. Lara respects and recieves help from her radio team. And Bayonetta has Enzo and possibly other friends, Maybe her aloofness is a character flaw but ultimatly what she cares about most is her daughter.KAPTAINmORGANnWo4life said:Weakest ("I am a strong woman so I need absolutely no help fighting the various demons and beasties I encounter, because I'm a well-rounded character like that.")
I had the same thing happen, except that I was beaten in the face with a spiked hammer D:Horny Ico said:I was once thrown on my back by a gernade in Resident Evil 4. Ashley called me a pervert for looking up her skirt.
Becsuse she's a stupid *****.
I disagree with you on Ashley. On the surface she seems like a bit of a grrl with attitude (Subject Zero moreso) but if you spend a lot of time talking to her you find a very driven woman, who was shaped by her faith, the influence of her father and years of military training. She definately softens as the game goes on. It's for this reason I'd put her in the strong female category.bagodix said:Tali'Zorah nar Rayya [http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Tali%27Zorah_nar_Rayya] (or just Tali) is brave, intelligent, resourceful and independent (when necessary), and a nice and pleasant person. Although she is an engineer, and a very gifted one, she isn't a geek of any sort, and can do some pretty dangerous things by herself. She is neither a damsel in distress (Liara [http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Liara_T%27Soni]) nor an annoying, exaggerated You Go Girl! ***** (Ashley [http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Ashley_Williams], Subject Zero [http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Subject_Zero]). Although her form-fitting environmental suit produces a very agreeable figure, we don't know what she looks like because of the visor obscuring her face almost completely. She also has two toes and three fingers. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this is a character that doesn't rely on sex appeal, at least not in any conventional sense. I bet she's really cute though.
As for bad female characters, throw a rock and you'll hit at least a few (like Liara, Ashley and Subject Zero).
I didn't pick the "strongest" female character because I don't see any point in doing that. Video game characters tend to be impossibly powerful in general.
